This large, family owned furnished home, known as the Conrad/Zachman House, is located on 175 feet of private Elk Lake frontage which provides wonderful opportunities for swimming, diving and jumping from the dock, boating (canoe, rowboat, and sunfish sailboat provided,)and just relaxing or reading by the water. The house is just a 5 minute car ride or a fun bike ride, (some bikes provided), to the charming Village of Elk Rapids and its very child friendly Lake Michigan beach and playground.
This versatile home offers an ideal gathering place for three generation family vacations, smaller groups, or a romantic getaway for a couple.
The sleeping spaces consist of: 1.A large master bedroom on the main floor with a queen bed and a large bath with a jacuzzi tub; 2.another main floor bedroom with two single beds which can be pushed together to form a king size bed; 3.an upstairs apartment over the master bedroom with two bedrooms (one with a queen bed and the other with two singles,) a shared bath, and a small deck; 4.another upstairs bedroom, above the living room, with a queen bed and a 1/2 bath; 5.a lower level sleeping area with a queen sofa bed and two single beds (plus a pull out single trundle bed and a rollway single bed); 6.a queen size hideabed in the living room, and a double size hideabed in the sunroom.
The full kitchen, a separate dining room, a large living room, a sun room, and a recreation/sleeping area in the lower level (with pool table,) combine with the large yards and beautiful waterfront and dock to provide great spaces for both togetherness and separateness when needed.
In addition to the great waterfront area, there are large outdoor spaces for croquet, badminton, volleyball, playing catch, and general outdoor play, as well as picnicking, sunbathing, and reading. A week at the Conrad/Zachman House is truly a delightful way to spend your summer vacation.

- King Bed : Two single beds in one of our bedrooms can be pushed together to form a king size bed.

- Twin/Single Bed (6) : If two of the single beds,occupying one of our bedrooms, are pushed together to form a king size bed (the King Bed mentioned,) there would be 4 single beds. In addition to the 4 or 6 single beds, there is also a pull out single trundle bed and a single rollaway bed.

Picnic tables, Canoe, Rowboat, Dock, & Buoy for your boat are provided. ( No jet skiis please.) Bring your own life jackets. Bed pads, Blankets, Spreads, and Pillows are provided. Bring your own sheets, pillowcases, towels, dish towels, and paper supplies.

Rate Details (In US Dollars)
June-August .. $3000/week (+ 6% MI tax), Saturday-Saturday for up to 20 people.
Security deposit of $300 which will be refunded if no damage occurs.
$500 deposit to hold reservation, Remainder of fees due 30 days before arrival.
