This comfortable two-bedroom apartment is located in the safest area of the city, only a few blocks from the Empire State Building, the UN and across town from Macy's. Running out for a late night snack or coming home from a late dinner are worry-free. If you're a jogger, you'll love early morning runs by the river.

Don't feel like facing another restaurant menu? Eat at home. The fully-equipped kitchen lets you enjoy a morning coffee, complete with fresh bagels -- or a midnight snack of your choice.

Both bedrooms are sunny and quiet, with windows overlooking a park. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room; so three adults or a family of four can comfortably be accommodated.

The apartment is located on the third floor of a solid, pre-war, walk-up building; so the noise from the street is removed. If you don't think of New York as a green, friendly city, get ready to change your mind!

Internet access and use of the phone for local and other calls within the US will allow you to easily keep in touch. There is no international long distance; but calling cards can be used. And we can steer you to the best places to find them -- or anything else you may need during your stay.

Shopping, transportation, hospitals, sightseeing, walking in the moonlight by the East River -- all add to the New York experience you'll enjoy while staying here. And you'll pay much less than you'd pay at a pricey New York hotel!

There are trundle beds for two twins or king-size sleeping accommodations in each bedroom. Amenities include linens, pillows, a computer, internet access, and local US phone service.

The fully stocked kitchen includes a fridge, stove, sink, pots, pans, cooking utensils, food basics, a dining area, plates, and siverware. The bathroom has a small tub and shower. Additional amenities include a DVD/VCR, CD player, tape and AM-FM radio, a TV, and an air-conditioner.

The apartment is conveniently located near East River parks, walking and biking paths, dining, shopping, kids' parks, and all NYC sites and attractions.

The city of New York is alive with activities any time of the day, and any season of the year. You may be surprised to learn that boating, fishing, skiing, rock climbing, golfing, and other fun activities that are not usually associated with New York City are available -- and close to where you'll be staying! Of course, there are always the museums, plays, sightseeing and other events that draw millions to the city every year.

This apartment is in the heart of Manhattan -- only steps from busy streets and bustling stores. The park buffers the noise of the neighborhood; so the noise of the city does not intrude when you want peace and rest. But step down the block and you'll be amidst the New York that shines in movies and books.
