Gorgeous sunny three bedroom and loft home that SLEEPS 10, half a block from the water's edge with public docks on the sunny side of Donner Lake (20 minutes from Lake Tahoe). Minutes from Downtown Truckee.

Three queen beds plus four twins (two trundles). Wrap around deck with a great view of the lake. Fireplace. Radiant floor heat in the two bathrooms. Steam room in the Master bath. Gourmet kitchen with copper farmer's sink and all new stainless steel appliances. Large cathedral ceiling in the great room.

Home is on a new private road immediately across from Loch Leven Lodge.

Two night minimum.

  • I can not say enough positive things about this beautiful home. It far exceeded my expectations and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. I celebrated my 40th birthday with a bunch of girlfriends and we had a fabulous time! The location is ideal for anytime of the year. It is a 1/2 block from the Donner Lake and minutes from many ski resorts, and has a beautiful view. The downtown area of Truckee is about 10 minutes away and has great food, shopping and nightlife. This home is beautifully furnished and has a wonderful, fully stocked kitchen. I can't wait to go back!

  • Ohhhh we cannot say enough about this wonderful home! We almost didn't want to comment because we don't want it to fill up and not be available for us to stay there again. It is truly and amazing home at Donner Lake. The house itself it beautiful and immaculate that felt more like a 5 star resort than a rented property. The view was fabulous from the big deck. The kitchen very well appointed. There is just no detail left out! If you decide to rent this home, please take good care of it! I don't want anything to keep the owners from allowing other to enjoy their gorgeous home in the future! We'll definitely stay there again.

  • A wonderful family friendly rental! This house is very comfortable for adults, with a fun kitchen and great room to support group cooking and socializing. Great for at least two families to enjoy time together. A really great value away from hectic North or South Shore. Donner Lake is great location!

  • Just wanted to thank you for having such a great place to stay! My wife and I and our kids stay at a lot of vacation rentals and yours was probably THE most well-appointed in terms of ammenities for the guests to enjoy...the selection of games, movies and even books (I got hooked on the Jack London Fish Patrol short stories) was terrific, and the scrap book of different things to do in the Truckee Tahoe area was a nice reference to thumb through. The kids loved the foosball and mini-pool table. And the house itself is just gorgeous! We look forward to coming back again sometime. Thank you again for allowing others to enjoy your home at Donner.

I felt like I was at a great hotel with all the space and comfort of being at home. If you are considering staying here...do it!!! It is a great deal for a fabulous place.   • Our two families had a wonderful time in the Donner Lake house. It's perfect for families. We loved the big great room where we could watch the kids playing and enjoy cooking in the new kitchen at the same time. Great views. We'll be back!
