We are located in a very safe and quiet area and in a gated private residential area for maximum safety. For larger parties we also offer a spectacular next door beachfront 2 bedroom, 2 bath home.
This newly decorated and updated home sits right on one of the most beautiful, pristine, sandy beaches in Baja, with breathtaking panoramic views and spectacular sunsets. This home has been personally decorated by it's owner to keep the Mexico feeling with it's old world charm.
Located less than five minutes from the incredible Bajamar golf course and the world famous La Fonda restaurant and Spa, as well as other beachside eateries, it is only a 15-minute drive to Puerto Nuevo, Baja’s lobster capital and 20 minutes to eclectic Rosarito. Just a 20-minute jaunt south and you will find yourself in lively Ensenada, where you will find shopping and dining at it's best. A short trip to the east and you will marvel at Baja’s beautiful wine valley, where you can enjoy wine tasting at the many fine wineries.
A forty-five minute beachside drive from San Diego, this house offers all the comforts of home plus the relaxing and exhilarating atmosphere of sunny Mexico. Panoramic ocean view on a private beach for miles. Imagine walking on a totally uncrowded beach. Famous Bajamar golf course. As nice as Pebble Beach and only 1.5 miles away. Costco, Smart and Final close by. Fabulous La Fonda and several other great restaurants less than 5 minutes away. Even a wine country 45 minutes away. No Pollution!!!

I stayed in the bigger house for a month and a half this winter before moving to this one for the next three. The casita is much smaller, but cosy and well decorated in the shabby-chic, so-what-if-you-track-in-sand style that defines a good beach house. A few quirks--like low water pressure and the fact that the back yard is a weed-filled vacant lot bordered by large bushes of breathtakingly beautiful flowers--add more than subtract from its charm. Especially since the endless beach and waves dominate all. A perfect size for me alone, the casita would also make an excellent romantic vacation nest for two, and even accomodate a well-behaved family of four. Plus it's an excellent place to stash in-laws or visiting friends if you're staying in the bigger house. I'd go back to either house in a flash. Thank you for letting us rent your casita in Puerto Salina. We are just back and our 4 nights there were great. This is a great place to rent, the beach is fantastic and the house is really nice. Thanks again and we hope to rent the place again in the future.

I just wanted to follow up and let you know how delighted my friend and I were with the Casita. The location was stunning and the amenities perfect. Although the weather didn't exactly cooperate, we had a terrific time. Sand on the floors certainly shouldn't have been a problem, as walking on the beach was a procedure involving eskimo-like bundling. We took full advantage of your recommendations, taking in the La Fonda spa and restaurant, as well as the Papala Jose bar's music. We attempted to visit a couple wineries as well, but in the slow season they had elected not to open. Thank you for all the directions and recommendations as well as for providing such a lovely seaside cottage. Should we return, we'll likely check on using the cottage again.
