We have stayed here a couple of times and can´t wait to go back. It is more beautiful than the pictures.The condo is clean and well equipped, the pool and beach are great and sooo relaxing. Lots to do , day trips etc the front desk is very helpful and can set you up with daily adventures etc. Buses and taxi´s stop a the door for a short ride to town. Ocean front restaurant downstairs, great food and service, we saw whales and dolphins. We love it down there.

March Break in Paradise

My husband and I just got back from a fabulous week in PV. Our stay at Girasol Sur was wonderful - clean and comfortable accommodations, beautiful view of the ocean and pool, helpful and friendly staff. The listing photos totally reflect the appearance and amenities of the property. The on-site restaurant was lovely and served great meals. The convenience store was well-stocked with most of what we needed. We would highly recommend this property to anyone. We hope to return and enjoy PV again. Actually, we wish we were still there!

Title is fine, beautiful scenery

The scenery was great, but the accomodations cancelled out the great scenery. The bed and bedding was worn out and hard and needed to be upgraded. Two pillows that were maybe 1" thick. Couch was a worn out old futon that needed to be thrown away. VCR was broken. The photos are accurate as far as the beaches and views but as far as the accomodations the only thing that was accurate was the bathroom. The owner has not responded to my last email to address the fact we left early. I recommend the area, not the unit we rented.

Owner response:The real truth is this guy left early to go home because of his family... he was going to book a week then 5 days then 4 days because they have never been away from the kids and , had never been to Mexico... he had no problem contacting me many times and i always responded... When I contacted the front desk and asked them if he was complaining about anything the manager said no. he also asked the maids if they had been contacted and not a word to anyone. All this from a man that called me 15 to 20 times and emailed me about as much. he left because family was on the other side of Puerto Vallarta in the fancy Mayan and they wanted to go back or they just left to go home If anyone has any questions I would be glad to let you see my emails with this man… Ladies and Gentlemen we are NOT a Las Vegas Resort. We are located on the 2 Nicest Beaches in The Bay. This guy spent 2 nights in the unit. went on excursions and spent tons of time on the phone with home ..he never once attempted to contact me... we have 5 units in the building and if something is wrong i can always make something work out... He did not contact me until he was home and wanted money back... I have been doing this for 10 years and i know these types. Some people should not go to Mexico and these people are some of them... I have had guests in my unit before and after and no problems. He could have went to the Presidente next door and paid $250 a night for a unit smaller and not as nice as this unit....as for the VCR a cable needed to bee hooked up and again he could have told me about that as soon as he got there, he just wants to write a bad review because i would not be extorted into giving him his money back. Read any of our other reviews. Have a great trip to Mexico where ever you stay..... And if you are lucky enough to stay on Playas Gemelas (the twin beaches translated to english) you will know what I mean….

We have stayed here for 6 years in a row. The condo is clean, well equipped (we like to do some of our meals in the condo) and well located. the sunsets from the balcony are beautiful. The beaches on both sides of the condo building are - we think - the best in PV. The condo is located outside the noise of the city but a short bus ride or cab ride to the old town and its great Mexican character and a wide selection of restaurants. At the right time of year you see whales and dolphins in the bay. There is a restaurant on site with a good menu and live music 3 nights a week as well as a small store that carries all the basics in fresh and dry goods. The building and grounds are very well maintained and there is 7/24 security on the property. The owner has been great to deal with and has made improvements to the condo every year.

We absolutely love these condos at Girasol. We have been to visit 7 times and we love it more each time. I can't wait to book again... We love the location, the beaches, the staff, the amenities, the waterfront balconies and the view. The owners have thought of everything you might need to enjoy your time there…in addition to the complete list of features in their nicely decorated interiors - they include all the equipment you need for a day at the beach right in front of the building. Be sure to check out the long list of included supplies that are included with these condo rentals. It is a tremendous value for all it has to offer. This IS the best of Puerto Vallarta. I can not recommend it enough.

Thank-you so much for our wonderful vacation in PARADISE. We loved it and will definitely book again, soon I hope. The condo was beautiful, equipped with everything we needed , very clean and comfortable, The view from the balcony is fantastic, we saw whales and dolphins while drinking coffee. The ocean front restaurant is sooo convenient, the staff is very efficient and friendly, great views the food was very good , fresh fish caught daily. Outstanding Experiance

What a fantastic experiance! Being south of town and close to Los Arcos is something most people visiting don't experiance. The accomadations and view are outstanding! The food at the pool side bar and the service is a plus.

Nice place and the views are really nice. I was there in December from the 15th to the 21st and on the 19th I saw 15 Whales at the same time from the balcony. That was something i will never forget. Clean place nice staff. This was my 3rd time renting a condo at the Girasol and this was a really nice unit.

A very peaceful place to stay. The view you can not beat! Bus stop out the front door to get to downtown. Front desk very helpful with scheduling any activity. The restaurant on site is very good and the staff is very friendly and gets to know you needs during your stay. You have the choice daily of going to the beach or sitting by the pool out your back door. Also does have a little store in the building to get the little things you might need. If possible will go back. Owners very easy to work with and answered every question I had. Thank you for your wonderful place.

Wonderful time in PV. The codo was very clean as was the beaches. Owner was very helpful as to activities and restaurants. The restaurant at the condo was very good with an excellent view of the bay and we found everyone friendy and helpful. Would recommend to seniors, familes and anyone wishing for a great stay in PV.

This Place is Heaven on Earth

I have stayed here multiple times and I absolutely love it!! The condo itself is spectacular. The condo is extremely clean and extremely well kept. As soon as you walk into this place you know immediately that you are on vacation and you will never want to leave. Whether you are relaxing inside the condo or out on the balcony, you will absolutely love this place. The views from the balcony are breathtaking. The building is also extremely clean and well kept. The pool and pool area are beautiful and the beach, which is directly outside your door, is to die for. Every time I go to this condo I am shocked that you get all this at such a great price. This condo is, without question, my favorite vacation spot. This place is paradise and I highly recommend staying here. You won't regret it!
