Newer Colonial just a short walk to the Gunstock Acres Association beach and tennis courts, and less than a 5 minute drive to Gunstock Ski Area. Great yard for playing games, over-sized paved driveway for parking multiple vehicles and a boat trailer. The main level has a large kitchen which opens to the dining area. There is seating for 8 at the table and 5 at the kitchen counter. There is a slider off the dining area to a deck with outdoor furniture and a gas grill. The living room has cable TV with DVD/VCR and a wood burning fireplace. There is a sitting room with a TV and DVD. The 1/2 bath and laundry room are on this floor. The upper level has 4 bedrooms and two baths. The master bedroom has a queen bed and its own bath. One bedroom has a queen; the two other bedrooms each have 2 sets of bunk beds. The dining area and all the bedrooms have window air conditioners. There is a two car garage. A great home to enjoy your summer or winter vacation. **Sorry, no pets are allowed ***
Winter Activites include : This new home is moments away (2 miles) from Gunstock Mountain. At Gunstock, you have a beautiful mountain that is suitable and challenging for beginners and experts alike. Skiing, snowboarding and tubing make this an ideal location for the family that can meet everyone's outdoor interest. A short walk through the woods behind the house brings you to the Ellacoya Bar and grill and general store. You can drop in the store and pick up last minute food and supplies or join other guests for a wonderful lunch or dinner in their dining room (excellent food at very reasonable prices)
The home is also situated within easy walking distance to Ellacoya State Park where you can go for ice fishing, skating and other winter activities on the lake. You can also rent a snowmobile for use on the lake or on any one of the numerous local trails that you can use for walking or outdoor recreation. All just minutes away!
Spring and Summer Activities : Spring and summer is a beautiful time of year to get away to Lake Winnipesaukee or the nearby mountains for swimming, hiking, fishing or boating activities. You can take a hike on any one of a dozen local bike or walking trails ( we like the Kimball Castle trail a lot...it's challenging and has a great view the from the top) You can take a short walk to our private beach association right on the shores of the lake and have a cookout or picnic, swim off our private dock or use our boat launch for an excursion on the lake (fishing, swimming etc) You can also visit nearby Laconia for a night out on the town (for families as well as adults) where you can walk along the pier, visit the local shops along the lake, enjoy the nightlife and local restaurants, take a cruise on the lake on the Mount Washington or visit the Funspot Arcade or Go Karts with your family. Gunstock also offers a ropes course for kids and adults as well as zip lines and scenic chairlift rides fishing and kayaking.
