My wife and I had the most wonderful time staying in your beautiful villa. The pictures of the property and surrounding area were exactly what we encountered and quite a bit more. The beds were so very comfortable and I was very impressed by the size and available living space. We were very thankful for the loads of helpful information in the villa and look forward to the next time we come so we can enjoy more of the activities you suggested. We felt right at home staying at your villa and it is obvious you take great pride in the upkeep and maintenance of your home away from home. Thank you for the memories!

Hi Shelley - Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your Puerto Vallarta home. It really is a very special place to just hang out and enjoy the great space and the pool. We LOVED the way you decorated it. It felt old world Mexico with a tasteful flare of color through the pottery and the fabrics. All the restaurant recommendations were spot on (Trio, Casa Naranja, Joe Jacks, and Archie's Wok). We liked Trio the best - their sea bass is to die for. We did the Canopy Tour and a private fishing trip where I caught 15 bonita in about an hour. Weather was wonderful all week. We will recommend to friends and would like to go back. We left everything in great shape. The housekeeper, Maria, came twice while we were there which was more than sufficient and we liked the quality and variety of restaurants so much, we never dined in. Happy holidays to you and thanks again.

We had an enjoyable stay. After staying at all-inclusives for several years, the villa was a refreshing change. The spaciousness and beauty far exceeded our expectations. The grounds and views are stunning. We watched whales and dolphins almost daily from the pool area. We hope to return!

Every evening the villa offered us a peaceful respite. The pool was our place to congregate, cool off, and converse. After a couple of hours swimming, we would retire to the lounge chairs and table to snack and continue our conversations. This Mexican retreat has been exactly has we had hoped. Two evenings offered fireworks from across the road. The cool mornings were filled with avian songs and calls, breezes off the water, and the pounding surf!

We had a wonderful first trip to Vallarta and loved the villa. My kids spent hours in the pool. My 5 year-old even learned to swim!

Hi Shelley! Ok, I'm finally back in the saddle and sort of motivated to get back to work. Dreaming about my next vacation already. We're definitely on for next year! Villa dos Angeles was a DREAM this year, as always. We went horseback riding up into the mountain (the waterfall turnaround) -- AND we tried out the new restaurant at Blanca Blue. AMAZING. A client actually mentioned it in May of this year, and I was delighted to know it was the spot just 80 or so steps downhill and to the left! If you haven't already gone, be sure you sit outside at sunset. Out of this world. Thank you, again, for letting us be a part of the fantastic-ness that is Villa dos Angeles!

I wanted to tell you that we had a simply wonderful time in PV. Thank you so much sharing your beautiful villa. We had been looking at the pictures online for weeks, but the place still took our breath away when we got there! Elba was wonderful and helped us with everything. We spent most of our time south in Boca and the beaches below it along the coast. There is a wonderful hiking trail from Boca to Las Animas. We hiked out one day and took a taxi back from Las Animas. We loved it so much we did it again the next day in reverse. The trail takes you to deserted, pristine beaches. We found paradise! The river right next to the villa was also wonderful. It got crowded later in the day but it was a refeshing cool treat! Thanks again!

This has been a fantastic vacation. My amigas love the villa and we had a great time scuba/snorkeling and zip lining. Effie cooked dinner last night we had chips with salsa and guac, chicken mole pablano with frijoles and rice, and a flan cake. It was all so delicious. When each of my friends walked into the villa they were shocked that "this" is where we were staying. They saw the vrbo pictures, but it was more than any of them imagined. I don't think that they realized that there really was a private pool until they saw it. Laurie wants to stay forever, she says that she hasn't laughed so much in a long time and everyone said that this was exactly what they needed. My friend CC works for David Letterman and she said she'll get you tickets if you'd like the next time you're in New York. Color us just few more highly satisfied customers....

Much gratitude to you for our stay at Villa dos Angeles this year. What a fun third year! As you know, our dear friends, joined us this time. So we did a few new things, including hiring the cook one night (Effie?) who was fantastic; doing the Canopy Tour zip lines (and meeting the owner who lives just up the hill from the villa); and exploring the jungle river just below the villa. During a nighttime walk on the beach, we watched a sea turtle laying her eggs! And of course, we did our old standby favorites like La Palapa, Andales, and Garbo's. Elba was fantastic at every turn, of course. We love her! I think the villa is my favorite place on earth. We'll likely want to pop back down to the villa in August 2009, as usual. I'll let you know soonest. We're still basking in this trip. Best to you and your entire family. And a RESOUNDING THANK YOU again for another year of joyous vacation!!

Fantastic week at the villa. Swimming in the pool was by far our 3 year old's favorite thing. One day she spent five hours in the pool! We are looking forward to another trip to Villa Dos Angeles sometime very soon! Thank you so much!

We had a fabulous time at Villa Dos Angeles. We have always stayed right on the beach before, but now we are sold on staying over the beach on the mountain! What views!!! Our best day was taking the five minute bus ride to Mismaloya. We walked down to the beach, hired a panga that took us to Playa Amapas (only accessible by boat) and we sat all day on the beach in front of Pichons drinking beer, jet skiing, parasailing, and playing Shanghai. All the suggestions in the binder on dining were perfect! We will definitely be back!

What a wonderful stay we enjoyed here in Villa Dos Angeles. If you recall, we came here to celebrate our parents 50th anniversary. The villa is simply lovely (please call if you are ever interested in selling) and the weather could not be more perfect. You will be happy to know the staff performed very well and made our stay very comfortable. Your local advice was very helpful we enjoyed several of your recommendations. This trip is our 11th to PV. It's also our 20th wedding anniversary celebration. Over the years we have stayed at many hotels and condos. Villa Dos Angeles has been the ultimate in comfort, location and relaxation... we love it! We are already planning our next visit and we have not left PV yet! A bit too late, but I want you to know that we had a fantastic time in your Villa Dos Angeles. It is beautiful, excelent taste, excellent location, so comfortable, beautiful views... everything was great. Thank you very much for renting us your place. My daughter loved it and it was so rewarding to be with her in such a nice environment just before she goes to freezing England to start her studies.

My husband and I just wanted you to know we had a wonderful vacation at the Villa dos Angeles. The staff kept everything spotless. The view of the sunsets were fabulous. The restaurants you recommended were wonderful. Everyone we met while during our stay were very gracious. We took a sailing adventure for one day and had great time on the water. Thanks again for all your helpful tips. We would love to go back again someday. We met several couples on our sailing adventure and I gave them the web site. They seemed interested, some of them actually went to P.V a couple a times a year. Thanks again for sharing your vacation home with us. We had a terrific time.

We came here for our 14th wedding anniversary and it felt like we were on our honeymoon! This is truly the most amazing place we have ever stayed. Everyone at Garza Blanca has been so friendly and helpful. From getting our groceries for us, making change, and anything else we needed. We had fresh flowers brought daily and not to mention not having to do any dishes all week! What a bonus! I will recommend this place to everyone I know and we plan on coming back for sure! Thanks for letting us enjoy your home. We hope to have the pleasure of returning very soon! Next year!!

A typical day at Villa Dos Angeles...... Rise from the most comfortable mattress in the world. Step out into the daylight. Beautiful Day. Gorgeous Views. Consider early morning dip in the pool. Think better of it. Opt for Bloody Mary. Put i-Pod into stereo system and wake up the others.... and eat a fabulous breakfast at the pool. Finally ready for pool. Do underwater Tai-Kwan-Do. Walk around the house for umpteenth time admiring the tiles, arches and architecture. Take pictures with the intent to recreate the same design in Healdsburg, CA. Suddenly discover domed (boveda) brickwork in entry. Take more pictures. 85 degrees. Slam down another Corona. Consider daytrip to Barra de Navidad. Decide we are having too much fun at the villa, and abandon idea. A flock, herd, whatever, of herons flies overhead. Others finally retire. Skinny-dip solo. Swim to side of pool. Beautiful city lights..... Vallarta shore-line appears as wonderful fireworks type halo. Back to the best damn mattress in the world........ Had a wonderful visit. See you the same time next year!

Just wanted to let you know that we can't say enough about our trip to PV!!! The main reason it was so wonderful was because we had a great place to stay. Thanks for opening your house up for other folks like us to enjoy. We have already started talking about our return there. We didn't have to go out to the big markets, but made occasional trips to the GR on the corner of Constitution and Aquiles Serdan. It was quite convenient. We also thought that 'Daiquiri Dicks' is such a misnomer for such an elegant, high-end restaurant; I think we were imagining a bar along the lines of Trader Vic's. What a treat that restaurant was! All the best!

Six girlfriends who have been together 15 years, we finally got a trip together, despite our schedules and even though we are all very different, and none of us could have envisioned a better place for our girls trip. The Chef cooked our first dinner here and it was fabulous! We used her several more times and loved EVERYTHING. Our days were spent lounging by the pool, doing the zip-line tours (a must!), going to the beach, and walking around. As you can see, we had a fabulous time and can't fit everything in here.... THANK YOU for sharing your beautiful home! We will be back!

Spring, officially begins at 8:07 PM today the radio says. The forecast calls for -15 overnight. A few days after our return a week ago there was a 12’’ snowfall. We do miss Villa dos Angeles.Our son is there right now with three friends. We’ve been able to keep in touch on Skype and they’re having a good time there. They also took advantage of something we didn’t and had people in to cook for them. Mexican food was prepared by three cooks and it was delicious. They are due to return tomorrow.Your villa is situated on what has got to be nicest ridge line south of PVR. There is a breathtaking view from every window. One can see that in the growth of PVR southward the Conchas Chinas ridge was first to be exploited and the next comparable piece of land offering 270º views was at Garza Blanca. The way the design has the villas perched on the ridge cascading downhill is wonderful. It’s like a castle. I don’t think anything designed today with computers would be able to match that charm. Elba told us the architect was Eduardo Navarro. My hat is off to him.You’re very lucky to have the villa and we’re green with envy.Finally a pat on the back for the staff at Alta Garza Blanca. We were very impressed with their response to any problem or request. From changing a light bulb, to bringing more drinking water, it usually happened within minutes. Elba seems to run a tight and happy ship. Please convey our thanks.Once again thanks for the use of your charming home in the Mexican sun. We enjoyed it greatly. Best regards!

We ate out almost every night and several lunches. I know we didn't even scratch the surface of the great places in Vallarta. We got busy the last few days (relaxed around Condo and beach mostly up to that time) and did the Canopy to the south, and then a great snorkling day through Chico's. Pamela came and did massages for us both early in our stay, and she was helpful on where to get hooked up with the best snorkling.... it was awsome day on the water, and saw wonderful species in two different spots. So many things I could say.... everything was great, and your place was perfect location for us. Many many thanks. Muchas gracias, para todo!

Just wanted to say thank you so much for all your help with our trip to PV. We had a great time. Your villa is very beautiful and worked great for us. We had a wonderful cook come one evening and cooked a delicious meal and we tried Barcelona Tapas and really enjoyed it. Thank you for all the information and recommendations. We really enjoyed the pool. The nanny worked out great. Our son really seemed to have fun with her. We will definitely remember your place for future vacations. Thank you again for everything!!

What a perfect honeymoon spot for us. We loved the villa, the view, and the privacy - it was amazing to wake up every morning and see the ocean and the city from bed!! We have always stayed in vacation homes when we have traveled, but yours by far outdoes all of them. Thank you for helping to make this time in our lives one we will always remember. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the villa! I wanted to get away to relax and this was the PERFECT place. The view was absolutely breathtaking (I took a ton of pictures) and we enjoyed the convenience of the pool and having someone come here to do my facial and massage. We enjoyed our evenings in "El Centro", the restaurant recommendations were awesome! Thanks for sharing your home with us, even though we leave today, we take with us fond memories!

Thank you for such a relaxing holiday!!! The villa is the most wonderful place we have ever stayed for a vacation. So comfortable and peaceful. We adored the view, the pool, the patio..... everything! We got addicted to watching evening sunsets and thunderstorms, not to mention the almost nightly fireworks displays! Plus, having an on-call Chef and massage therapist was an amazing bonus! We enjoyed the peace, quiet, beauty and sanctuary of our stay at Villa Dos Angeles! Thank You!
