Map & Owner's Profile
Luxurious Redfish Bay Home W/Million Dollar Views/Private Pier
Year Purchased: 2004
Why the Owner Chose Rockport
We chose this house for its beautiful views in the front and back and the sounds that come from the bay. Being able to watch the boats going back in forth and the birds flying overhead is so relaxing. There is nothing like the sound of a tug boat pulling at its horn as it slowly goes by at sundown. We also love being able to fish on our own pier all through the night if we want to do so.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Some of the house's unique benefits are: 1) its close proximity of the intra coastal canal 2.) its private lighted pier with fish cleaning stand, 3) the gorgeous views in front and back, 4) the open layout of the house and its upscaled features - (We built the house to live in and had to move, so it's not your typical vacation home.), its 65" tv set!
Owner's Map of Rockport
I grew up living on the coast and my husband enjoys observing wildlife, so we picked Rockport as a place to work in 2002. It took us two years to find the perfect lot on which to build. Its close proximity to the intra coastal canal provided the feeling of living on the ocean. We were also able to enjoy great fishing year round, see plenty of amazing birds and dolphins, and watch tug boats, sailboats, motorboats on a continuous basis. Our whole family loved visiting us. When our son-in-law came to visit, he would come to bed after fishing all night, just as we were getting up for breakfast! When we had to move to another city a few years later, we just couldn’t sell this house. We hope you’ll enjoy all that it and Rockport has to offer just as we continue to do.

We have been vacationing in Rockport for years. This is our 1st summer not staying in Key Allegro. This house was great! Beautiful view, nice house, quiet neighborhood and good fishing. The little one enjoyed watching the barges and other boats go by. Thak you. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay.

Thank you for a wonderful family week. The night fishing was truly amazing. We caught hundreds of fish, fed a blue heron and saw dolphins most night around 10 p.m. One night a pod of dolphins visited with an infant. My brother and sons kayaked out to the islands and brought back seashells and sore muscles. My younger son, eleven, fed the gulls, flew a kite and floated around the dock. My older son, eighteen, loved the big TV. We visited the galleries in Rockport, rented a boat and went to Mud Island for more sea shells. We ate at some great restaurants in Rockport and Port Aransas, but cooking together in the lovely kitchen was the most fun.

We have been coming to Rockport for over 25 years. Love your house-love the fishing and we just love relaxing here. Caught trout-Redfish, flounder and 1 stingray. Hope to come back here soon. Thanks so much for such a nice experience in your lovely home.

Thank you for the use of your home. We used to live at Key Allegro and their homes have nothing to compare to your place. All the amenities you need with a beautiful view. We cause six nice keeper Reds despite the windy conditions all weekend. We could certainly be interested in renting in the Fall. Thank you again.

You have a beautiful place and we had a wondeful weekend. It was a great place to celebrate my 50th birthday with all the boys.

Thank you for sharing your home. The arrangement is great and it is most welcoming. Games and gulling were lots of fun and the waterway has facinating traffic. Wildlife abounds, neighbors wave and town is near, but solitude is still noteworthy. God be with you and all who take refuge in this place of joy.
