Megan Manor is our brand new spacious 3,000 square foot home with private pool and spa. It has 5 bedrooms, including 2 King Master Suites, 4 full bathrooms and 1 half bathroom and and has more than enough room to accommodate families up to 10 people.
Everything in the home is new as of December 2011. All bedrooms have flat screen tvs/cable including 40' in both the King Suites. All beds, 2 King, 1 Queen and 4 twins come with the highest of quality and comfort Euro-top mattresses. Free Wi-Fi, long distance calls in U.S. and Canada, big screen tvs, FIOS cable with HD. Relax on the large covered lanais and enjoy our private pool with cascading spa overlooking one of Aviana's ponds.
It is located in the new private gated community of Aviana Resort which is minutes away from golf courses including Providence Club, Champions Gate Golf Course and within 15 minutes to gates of Disney Theme Parks. So many options for dining close by or eat at home using our fully equipped kitchen.
Megan Manor is a beautiful private corner lot backing onto a conservation pond with all furnishings and decor, bedding, etc. brand new as of December 2011. Enjoy the large covered lanais and pool deck with 2 tables, 8 chairs and removable child safety fence. take a swim in the private pool with optional heating under Florida sun or at night with underwater lighting. relax in the bubbling spa to rejuvenate after a day of golfing or theme park hopping.
With all the options of dining close by we wouldn't expect you to need to cook but your kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need to cook a snack or a feast. Refrigerator, microwave, toaster,coffee maker, gas stove (with instructions), ample cookware, dishes, utensils as well as a dishwasher and garbage disposal to help with clean-up. Enjoy your meal in the formal dining room or use the large breakfast nook and or large kitchen island with 4 bar stools.
There are two sitting areas, one adjacent to the dining room and the other off the kitchen with view of the pool and patio. Relax and watch our 50 ' HD tv with Verizon FIOS and Blu-ray/dvd player or walk through the laundry room to the garage area to play air hockey or foosball.
There are 2 huge Master Suites, one on the upper floor and one on the upper floor. Each comes with a 40 ' tv with FIOS to enjoy from the King size bed with 'Euro' pillowtop mattress. Each also have large ensuite bathrooms with separate tub and shower as well as oversized walk-in closets. There is a large Junior Suite with Queen bed and flatscreen tv across from a separate full bathroom as well as two large twin rooms with flatscreen tvs and shared full bathroom, all with the same 'Euro' top comfort.
For your convenience there is a pack and play crib and highchair, free Wi-Fi, Verizon FIOS with HD, free long distance for U.S. and Canada, hair dryers and ceiling fans.
The resort includes access to it's clubhouse with fitness center, zero entry pool, hot tub, kids playground, sand volleyball court, putting green, business center with computers, printers and fax.

As it was the first time we had all been on vacation together and we would all be living under one roof there was some trepidation - but thanks to the spacious and well planned layout of Megan's Manor from the 4 year old to the 60 + it never felt cramped or restricted. The property was clean, ample linens and towels, kitchen area perfectly equipped and although there was problem with pool heating everyone used the pool. Excellent location for all theme parks, Celebration ,Winter Park and shopping outlet but very glad to have GPS in car as Orlando roads not always well signposted. Good to have view at rear of property and jogging son very happy with his route around the resort early every morning. Clubhouse was closed over Easter weekend which was disappointing but children's play area always open. Excellent communication with owner prior to stay. Property Description did say wi fi but even the tech heads in our group had no success with using iPads etc however, it meant a totally stress free week and no news can be good news If we can make any suggestion it would be for small box toys eg Lego to occupy children when up too early to use pool. Ours remedied the problem by spending their holiday money on bargain toys at outlet centre which then had to travel to Keys with us for second week and frantically searched for and recovered for final journey back to UK!Did you find this review helpful? I stayed at this house for a week and wish that I could have stayed for months. The house was very well maintained and very clean. There was someone on call to answer any questions or concerns that we may have had. There was a pool and barbecue that made the stay enjoyable. The house is completely furnished and had everything that you could possibly need. We had 3 boys travelling with us and they really enjoyed that the garage which was equipped with games such as an air hockey table. There was also a gaming system and movies for the kids to watch. I feel the owners went above and beyond to have everything there to make our stay very enjoyable. I believe the house was very reasonably priced and the comfort of having a home away from home was awesome and made our stay very memorable. As a family of 8 people, it is hard to find suitable accommodations that everyone is happy with. This is exactly what we found when we stayed at Megan Manor in Davenport, FL. It was easy to get to and the description of the place was exactly as it was stated. There was plenty of room for everyone, which came in handy for our family! The property was well maintained, and clean. We had the pool heated, as the weather is a little cooler in February, and found swimming in the pool and soaking in the adjoining hot-tube quite relaxing and enjoyable. Dave and Tammie were extremely friendly and helpful, in making our stay an enjoyable one! We would highly recommend staying here. Having decided that with our two kids getting older this was probably the last time a visit to Disney and Universal Studios was going to take place with us all being together. Add in the father in law, Pops, and my daughters boyfriend we were the six in search of something special. We chose Megan Manor because it looked amazing and in Davenport a town a small distance away from the busy feel of Kissimmee and Orlando, but close enough to the main attractions, restaurants and shops. The Villa is just breathtaking. So much space for the whole family to mix (as we did in the kitchen area having breakfast and watching the Olympics from our home town of London), or to be alone and read or just relax around the pool and jacuzzi. The bedrooms were lovely and comfortable and the beds have mad our ones at home feel inadequate! The Aviana resort is very quiet and pretty, even though part of the estate is unfinished, it does not detract from the safe and typically American feel it gives you. The resort Swimming pool was a nice distraction for the kids and the putting green for myself and Pops. In Davis Sevier, the owner of the villa we found the perfect host, someone who could not do enough for us and even sent in two extra sunbeds so we could relax in style. We even made new friends in two red billed cranes that roam Aviana, acting as security! We named then Abbot and Costello. We have already recommended Megan Manor and David's other Villa's to our family and friends and one day we hope to be back ourselves.
