People say that The Village at Breckenridge has the best location in Breckenridge, and we couldn't agree more. This ski-in/ski-out resort is right at the base of Peak 9 and one block from Main Street. This is a family-friendly resort with many amenities for your family and friends to enjoy - indoor/outdoor swimming pool, hot tubs, work out room, equipment rentals on site, and more. A child care center is right on site (during ski season), and the Breckenridge Ski School is conveniently located within the complex.
The floor plan of this corner unit is one of the larger 2-BR condos in the complex at 1,186 square feet. Its split bedroom configuration is ideal - two bedrooms separated by the family room/dining area. With a southeastern orientation, it is located alongside the Blue River, with views of Maggie Pond, the plaza and partial views of Peak 9. During the summer, enjoy the soothing sounds of the river and the people-watching while you relax with a glass of wine on the balcony!
To us this is more than an investment property; it's our second home. Like our discriminating guests, we appreciate all the fine details and finishes you'd normally only see in the new luxury developments in Breckenridge. In our top-to-bottom renovations we've included all the extras: slab granite countertops, hand-textured ceilings, alder doors and trim throughout, stainless steel kitchen appliances, newer kitchen cabinets, gorgeous slate flooring in the kitchen, front hall and entry, expanded bathrooms with custom alder vanities and two sinks, designer tile and stone, Kohler fixtures; large front hall/entry and an upgraded fireplace with a natural stone surround. Our guests appreciate the carefully selected furnishings and decor. Its style is 'mountain elegant' with a cozy and inviting feel to it. Guests tell us that it feels like home. We want you to feel that way too.
In everything we do, we think of your comfort and enjoyment - a newer Simmons Beautyrest king mattress for the master bedroom, luxury upgraded linens and sumptuous towels and lots of extra pillows. It can be difficult for visitors, especially from the south, to adjust to the dry Colorado air (especially in the winter), so we provide two humidifiers, one for each bedroom. Babies love our portable Graco Pack 'N Play. Enjoy the games, puzzles, Blu-ray movies, DVD's, books from our library, and sleds. The home theater in the family room includes a 42' Visio LED SmartTV, a built-in 5.1 stereo surround system, Blu-ray player, Sony receiver/amp and subwoofer. We have two more TV's - a 39' HDTV in the master bedroom and a 37' HDTV in the guest bedroom. Bring your smartphones, laptop or other electronics, and enjoy music and videos on one of the best entertainment systems in The Village.

About the owner: Our family lives in Lafayette (east of Boulder), north of Denver. We love Breckenridge's charm and beauty and the friendliness of its residents. Our favorite time in Breckenridge is the summer and fall, although we love winter too! I've enjoyed meeting and renting to many wonderful people from all over the US, and a few from other countries too.
Why the Owner Chose Village at Breckenridge: We chose the Village at Breckenridge because of its ideal location. It's right at the base of Peak 9 and one block from downtown, so everything is within walking distance. Yet from our condo you can't hear any traffic. We really liked the layout of this condo and its southeastern orientation. The resort has an indoor/outdoor pool and hot tubs - a must when you have kids!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo: You can't beat the convenience of ski-in/ski-out. It's nice to ski for an hour or two, come back for lunch at the condo, and then take a few more runs. Oftentimes, we'll order takeout and then settle in for the night, watching a DVD on the home theater system. We love being able to walk to our favorite restaurants. With all the high-end upgrades we've made, the condo looks luxurious like the new places, but also feels cozy and comfortable. We hope you enjoy it too!
