People say that The Village at Breckenridge is in the best location in Breckenridge, and we couldn't agree more. This ski-in/ski-out resort is right at the base of Peak 9 and one block from Main Street. The Village at Breckenridge is very family-friendly. There is an onsite child care center open during ski season, and the renowned Breckenridge Ski School is conveniently located right within the complex. This resort has all the amenities for your family and friends to enjoy - indoor/outdoor swimming pool, hot tubs, work out room, equipment rentals right on site and more.
The floor plan of this corner unit is one of the larger 2-BR condos in the complex at 1,186 square feet. Its split bedroom configuration is ideal - two bedrooms separated by the family room/dining area. (See more pictures at the link to my personal web site under the rates.) With a southeastern orientation, it is located alongside the Blue River, with views of the mountains around Mt. Baldy, Maggie Pond, the plaza and partial views of Peak 9. During the summer, enjoy the soothing sounds of the river and the people-watching while you relax with a glass of wine on the balcony!
Other people have suggested that we might have gone overboard in our improvements for a "rental." Maybe so. But to us this is more than an investment property; it's our second home. Like you, we appreciate all the fine details and finishes featured in the new luxury developments in Breckenridge. So in our top-to-bottom renovations we've included the extras: slab granite countertops, hand-textured ceilings, new alder doors and trim throughout, stainless steel kitchen appliances, high end kitchen cabinets, gorgeous slate flooring in the kitchen, front hall and entry, expanded bathrooms with custom alder vanities and two sinks, designer tile and stone, Kohler fixtures; expanded front hall/entry and a new fireplace with a natural stone surround. This is a totally different quality level than the dated bronze and silver level condos you hear about in the rental pool managed by the large property management companies. What you see in the photos is what you will get. We receive many compliments on the carefully selected furnishings and decor. The style is "mountain elegant" with a cozy and inviting feel to it. Guests tell us that it feels like home. We want you to feel that way too.
In everything we do, we think of your comfort and enjoyment as well as our own. All the mattresses (about 4 years old now) are of excellent quality and very comfortable. There are lots of extra pillows to choose from! We know it can be difficult for visitors, especially from the south, to adjust to the dry Colorado air (especially in the winter), so included are two Air-O-Swiss ultrasonic humidifiers, which are among the most effective humidifiers available. We've included games, puzzles, DVD's, sleds, magazines and books for your family and friends to enjoy. We have a Graco Play 'N Pack too. Home theater/stereo: 37" HDTV, built-in 5.1 stereo surround system, Blu-ray player, Sony receiver/amp, subwoofer. 32" HDTV in the master bedroom. (Also, a 27" color TV in the other bedroom.) Bring your smartphones, iPad, thumb drive or laptop and enjoy music and videos on the best entertainment system in The Village.

Why the Owner Chose Village at Breckenridge
We chose the Village at Breckenridge because of its ideal location. It's right at the base of Peak 9 and borders downtown, so everything is within walking distance. We really liked the layout of this condo and its southeastern orientation. The resort has an indoor/outdoor pool and hot tubs - a must when you have kids!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
You can't beat the convenience of ski-in/ski-out. It's nice to ski for an hour or two, come back for lunch at the condo, and then take a few more runs. Oftentimes, we'll order takeout and then settle in for the night, watching a DVD on the home theater system. My husband and I like soaking in the outdoor hot tubs after skiing or bike riding. We love being able to walk to our favorite restaurants. With all the high-end upgrades we've made, the condo looks really luxurious like the new places, but also cozy and comfortable. We hope you enjoy it too!
This lift really moves people along since it's a double-loading chairlift.
There are lots of restaurants and shops all along Main Street and on the side streets.

Our family lives in Evergreen in the foothills west of Denver, about 75 minutes from Breckenridge. We've always dreamed of owning a second home in Breck. We like its charm and beauty, and the people are friendly and down-to-earth. Our favorite time in Breckenridge is the summer and fall, although we love skiing too! I've enjoyed meeting and renting to many wonderful people from all over the US, and a few from other countries too.

The condo was all we had hoped for. Very tastefully decorated with families in mind. Very warm and cozy atmosphere. Sarah was terrific, very informative; texting us with last minute details as we arrived later than initially expected. We didn't speak to her directly but communicated via emails and texts. Very efficient. Thanks go to you, Sarah. The staff we saw coming and going were friendly and had smiles on their faces; eager to help if it was needed. Thanks to you all. We definitely will recommend your condo to others (already have). We enjoyed having the DVD, games, sleds, etc. provided even though we didn't have time for any inside games..It was nice knowing they were there. Sledding was fun at Carter Park and we probably wouldn't have done that w/o the sleds being provided. FUN!!!!!

We stayed at this lovely condo for a week in July of 2011 and truly had a great time. The condo is decorated extremely well, has everything you need and is the perfect home away from home. We enjoyed the close proximity to the town and the amenities that the Village of Breckenridge offers. We especially enjoyed playing the games and watching the DVD's that were at of the condo (we spent more time than usual inside due to the rains). Sarah is amazing and ensures that all your needs are met. We will definitely be back to stay at this condo.

The condo was perfect. We had a long day at the airport on Sunday and a long drive in through the snowy mountains. By the time we reached the condo we were very tired. If was such a nice feeling when we walked in and saw how nice your place is. When we woke up in the morning and looked out the windows we were so excited at the location. Thank you for sharing your place with us it was very beautiful and cozy!!! It was by far one the nicest places we have ever rented!! When we head back to Breckenridge you will definitely hear from us.

Your place is absolutely beautiful. I'd tell you it was exactly what I imagined but it truly exceeded my expectations! Every detail is so well thought out with all of the beautiful furniture and accessories, extra pillows and blankets, and instructions and info for just about anything we could think of. We had a great trip to Breckenridge and absolutely loved your condo. We have stayed several places in Breckenridge in the past but this by far was the best. Some friends of ours rented a condo in building no. 1. When they came by to check out our place they stated that theirs was like living in the slums compared to your condo. Thank you very much.
