This three bedroom/2 bathroom villa can accomodate up to 6 people. The Villa is attractively furnished with the added addition of plants, pictures etc to create a comfortable atmosphere and has everything you need to make an enjoyable and relaxing holiday. The large lounge has 3 patio doors leading onto the balconies with sea views and patio furniture. The lounge has TV, DVD, Sat, CD, IPOD docking. The large kitchen has a new selection of utensils, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and cooker. One double bedroom with new en suite and patio door to garden. Two Twin bedded rooms with sofa beds and both with patio doors to garden The pretty garden with citrus trees and flowers has its own swimming pool and shaded areas. Also BBQ, patio furniture and new sunloungers. The villa is situated in a quiet cul de sac of six detached villas. 15 minutes walk to beach

The Villa: The villa is the owners own holiday home. We keep everything to a high standard and offer an attractive holiday home to our visitors who we hope will enjoy it as much as we do. It is not a bland holiday let but is furnished with plants, pictures, etc to make you feel in a home from home atmosphere. For those who enjoy cooking there is a large selections of utensils in the kitchen, plus a food processor etc.

There are shady areas to sit in the garden plus of course sunny spots for the sun worshippers. The garden has a lemon and orange tree plus a selection of colourful plants and shrubs. The villa is suitable for children and has a stairgate at the top of the stairs for younger children.

Since April 2011 fans have been fitted into all the bedrooms as well as many other items. The cutlary, plates and general kitchenware has all been replaced. We have also installed new lighting throughout to give a beautiful ambience throughtout the evening and night-time.

SInce January 2012 we have replaced both en-suite bathrooms to a very high standard as well as re-tiling the entire downstairs of the villa.

The area: It is a lovely area offering you the choice of the more lively night-life of Lagos with its boutiques and pavement cafes and street performers. Or Luz itself with a good selection of restaurants, safe beaches - a real family resort. Or the rural areas offering still beautiful beaches of sand but more rugged scenery and lots of good surf. Or the fishing villages. You can travel a little inland up to Monchique in the mountains or just take a small road through the countryside. There is a golf course within 5 minutes drive of the villa and an ample selection of beautiful courses across the Algarve which are easily accessable.

Sports: There are a number of beautiful golf courses nearby, one of which within 5 minutes from the villa. Fishing excursions. Tennis courts and squash courts. Surfing, ski-ing, watersplash parks and a large range of beach related activities. Horseriding etc.

  • NEW BATHROOM AND EN-SUITE - COMPETED JANUARY 2012 All bedrooms have patio doors leading onto garden. There is a cot if required. One bedroom is en suite The front bedroom is ideal for children as it is large and also accommodates a sofa bed to take two extra children if required. The rear bedroom also has a single sofa bed. There are electric blankets on request for the cooler months i.e from October - March. The bedrooms are all situated on the ground floor as it is cooler in the summer months for sleeping. The area offers a widespread variety of activities from surfing to golf. From watersplash parks to Roman sites. To areas of flowers and fauna. Praia da Luz is a lovely family resort, The beach is a safe sandy bay with rock pools at one end. Voted the best beach on the Algarve for children. A pedestrian only attractive esplanade with a few small shops. There are watersports on the beach and lots of excellent restaurants close at hand. There is a good family run supermarket that offers large range of products and excellent fresh meat and vegetables. Also a fishmarket. Lagos is only 4 km away which is a 15th century town with a large marina, abundance of restaurants and lots of activities including paragliding. boat trips etc. There are also many secluded beaches closeby which are great for surfing. Most beaches do have excellent restaurants. Lots of walking areas from the villa or a short drive away. Many interesting places to visit whether historic or areas of beauty.

About the owner: Sussex born and bred and owners of Sussex Lighting in Horsham, West Sussex. We have owned this property from new. It is a family property where we have spent many many years of holidays and we are looking forward to many more.

We love the peace and quiet of our little cul-de-sac with only 6 privately owned properties. The neighbours are all friendly and it is not a street of 'holiday lets' The beautiful local countryside and seaside walks are a must see for everyones stay. We have also endeavoured to keep the Villa in a traditional Portuguese style and maintain its beautiful homely feel. There are so many modern 'block' buildings available now that lose the character, feel and warmth of our Villa.
