Very clean, kitchen very well stocked, nicely decorated, beautiful view. All in all, a very good experience. Just a suggestion - it would be helpful to have a phone book in the condo. Because we use a GPS, we need the exact address of a place (restaurant, shopping mall, etc) to find it and without a phone book, it was difficult. Also, we had no idea what the remote on the dining table was (for the gate) until our last week there; maybe labeling it would be helpful. Loved the balcony! You have a very special place and the location is wonderful. Walks around the boardwalk were a daily inspiration. Thank you!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
Owner response: Hi Patricia, We value your suggestions and they will be taken care of for your next stay. Thanks for your input, it makes the unit better for all. Tom & Margie

My wife and I spent a week at Tom and Margie's condo and loved every minute of it. We decided it was even a perfect spot to watch Tropical Storm Isaac come through. Aside from all the amenities mentioned in other reviews and evident from the photos, the views from the bedroom and the living room are worth the "price of admission." The view of the gulf and Blind Pass make you feel like you are in the owner's suite of a cruise ship. Of course, there's plenty to do in the area, but I spent hours just sitting on the balcony reading, and watching the marine life and birds. Most restful vacation I've had in a while. And Tom and Margie were great to work with!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Thank you so much - your condo is just beautiful. We appreciate the up-to-date furnishings, comfortable beds and spa-like bathrooms! Relaxation is what we were hoping for, and hearing the waves and looking out at the gorgeous views and seeing dolphins, manatees, stingrays on a daily basis helped us realize our hopes. Lands End has been a vacation spot for us for over 20 years, but your condo with all if its amenities is just the BEST. We hope to visit again, and again:)Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Thank you for sharing your home with our family. We had a wonderful time, very clean and beautifully furnished condo.... enjoyed seeing the dolphins every day.. My 8 year old had a blast at the beach and had the experience of having a dolphin in the same wave..imagine that!! We spent a lot of time at the pool and couldn't have asked for more. Plenty of restaurants close and many deliver, grocery store is also close. Despite being spring break the beach was pretty quiet and we had a relaxing week. Traveled with my 20 yr old daughter, her boyfriend, my 8 yr old daughter and her cousin.. We spent time at the local aquariums ( saw Winter the dolphin in Clearwater) ,enjoyed driving along the gulf and took a boating excursion to Shell Key to find even more shells...my family had a great time. Everyone at the resort was very friendly and helpful. Thanks again for your hospitality and we hope to return again someday.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

This condo is one of the best places we have stayed. It had all the amenities you could want. It was spotless upon our arrival. The beds were very comfortable, as were the rest of the furniture. The balcony was a dream. I spent most of my time just sitting there enjoying the view, feeling the warm sun and listening to the waves, and yes, we did see dolphins. At the same time, the rest of our party had plenty to do going from the beach to the pool and back. The also were able to play tennis and volleyball, all within Lands End. Their are many fine restaurants nearby. a huge shopping mall for those who like to shop and John's Pass is just up the road. The owners were very helpful, wanting to do whatever they could to be sure we had a good time. We were there in January, the weather was great and we felt that we had arrived in paradise. We hated leaving, but hope to return again nex year.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We love coming to Land's End and Treasure Island. This resort is the gem on the island, tucked away on one end and water on 3 sides. The pool is huge and heated and the beach is the prettiest we've seen in the continental United States. The owners of this unit are very accomodating and the unit is stocked with everything you could imagine wanting. It's unique location at the end of the complex allows you to hear the waves crashing on the rocks as the ocean comes in to the intra costal waterway. This last year we did see a manatee right below our balcony. The condo is very roomy and has a great layout. Views from the living area and master bedroom are breathtaking. We'll be back.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We have stayed at Lands End for over 20 years. This unit is by far the best unit we have rented. The upgrades are wonderful and the amenities perfect. We have stayed in both Gulf side and Bay Side units, never an end unit. Because of the location you get views of both and are able to view dolphins and manatees up close! Highly recommend the unit. The owners are super to work with.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

All the amenities you could ever want. The best view from the main room and master bedroom. We saw manatee, dolphin and all kinds of fish. Paddle boarding down the intercostal and out to the ocean...fabulous. Owner response: Thanks, I am happy you enjoyed your stay and I really appreciate your review & comments. I just got back from a ski vacation in your state. Never saw so much snow at this time of year. I stayed at a real nice condo on the mountain. (VRBO # 95114) Looks we both had good times in each other's state's. Thank you again. Tom & Margie

We have been vacationing in Land's end for the past five years and we just love the property, it's lush gardens, clean safe property and right on the beach what else can you ask for? Well this unit is what you can ask for, so clean and beautifully updated, and very well equipped, we felt right at home. And to be able to watch the Dolohins play right by from the balcony, hear the waves crashing against the rocks and see the beautifult city lights at night is spectacular.. and only this unit can give you all of this. Highly recommend it!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thanks for the responce. We want you to feel at home. The Dolphins and Manatee perform for free. Come back again. Glad you enjoyed your time. Tom

This property is well decorated and taken care of. There are extras that are included in this particular condo that stand out: modern everything, wireless internet, Frisbee, beach chairs, beach toys, sand toys, the most comfortable beds and a balcony that has a view that cannot be beat. Everything is easy and enjoyable when staying here. I cannot wait to start planning my next stay here. My kids (ages 13 and 16) loved the accommodations and were asking (by the second day), "When are we coming back here?" The title holds true, you really do hear the waves crash. Truly an enjoyable stay.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: I am glad you enjoyed your stay and I appreciate the care of our condo during your stay. You will always be welcome back and I look forward to your future stay. Thanks Tom & Margie

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2005
About the owner: Hi, my wife Margie and I bought this condo in 2005 and completely remodeled it in 2006. The unit is always clean and we keep it up to date; we have already repainted, replaced the carpeting and the dishwasher since the remodel job. This condo has all the amenities of home. It is our home away from home as we live and operate our business in the Tampa Bay area.
Why the Owner Chose Treasure Island:
The property is very unique. The surroundings are very beautiful and private with 10 acres in a gated community on the beach and intercoastal. A boardwalk surrounds this paradise. The view from the balcony and master bedroom is breathtaking.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
The unit is first class. The beds are top quality mattresses, sheets and pillows. We keep spices, laundry detergent, condiments, etc. stocked for your usage. We only ask that if you use a lot you help replace it. You will feel like you are home; only better (beach + sun + vacation = better).
