This property has everything you will need for a dream vacation. The building is the closest to the water's edge that you can find on Maui. We are just a few feet from the ocean and the beach, which stretches for miles. In the evening you can watch the amazingly beautiful sunsets all year round. From November to April whale watching is a highlight right from the lanai and for those who like to swim there are often turtles a few yards from the shore.

BUILDING IS A NON-SMOKING BUILDING. Located on the fourth floor with approximately 860 square feet of living space,with central air conditioning. This unit has a 180 degree panoramic view of the ocean as well as the islands of Molokai and Lanai. The apartment itself is modern and ideal for accommodating a family as there are two sofa beds also a folding futon aside from the bed in the bedroom. The lanai is enclosed with large sliding screens and windows, that open so that you can enjoy the view and the proximity to the beach.
We can accomodate 2 adults and two children. We cannot accomodate four adults.

The Maui Kai resort is situated in a very convenient location, being close to shops for your everyday needs, and just a few minutes drive south to old Lahaina town, or north to the famous resort area of Kapalua. THERE IS FREE PARKING on the property!

It was a pleasure to deal with Jennifer and we will be back.   • WOW!!! Great place to take the family. We took our two teenagers and had plenty of room for us in this condo. Kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials. Lanai was the BEST with a pull-out sofa for the kids and a dining table to enjoy the beautiful views while eating breakfast,lunch and dinner. I would recommend this condo to everyone.   • My new wife and I, 28 and 29 respectively, thought Charlie and Jennifer's condo was a fantastic deal. The view cannot be beat, even in our imaginations. If we ate in, we ate EVERY meal on the lanai and the view is even better than all the reviews and description state. Charlie and Jennifer were always quick to respond to any questions we had and treated us extremely well. I am a sales manager for a large firm, and my wife and I are quite picky. We were thrilled to stay at a great condo with fantastic owners. We plan to be back, perhaps as soon as 51 weeks from now!

  • How do you ever explain to anyone what a wonderful dream you had!?! You can't. All we can tell you is that this unit of Jennifer's & Charlie’s brought us something way beyond our expectations. We were there in February and we watched whales ALL DAY LONG. When you rent this unit… bring your camera if nothing else!!! Then come night we watched the stars and fell asleep with the sound and the feel of the cool ocean breezes. If you want to block out the sound of the ocean waves… you only have to slide the big glass doors closed. Stay home if you’re thinking of coming there with your work. This is the best unit to see the ocean and feel that island spirit. We have visited the islands many times and we do not want to lease any other unit on Maui after staying here. Because we did enjoy it so much… it was honestly sad when it came time to leave. We had the opportunity to have supper with the Hull’s. What a nice evening. These two are a warm and welcoming couple. We stayed TWO WEEKS so we know we were blessed to have come across this unit! THANK YOU JENNIFER & CHARLIE HULL~

  • We had an excellent time here at the Maui Kai! Not only was everything perfect in the unit, the view is second to none. We saw lots of hump back whales and the birds fed right out of our hands from the Lanai! Through circumstances we got to meet the owners of the unit and they went above and beyond our expectations to help us have a better holiday. They are very decent people who truly care about their guests comfort. If we go back to Maui we would not hesitate to rent from them again!   • We recently came back to stay at this property again and were very pleased to find that a number of updates have been done to the suite. We loved it when we originally stayed so it was a real bonus to find it even nicer than we remembered. We absolutely love this suite at the Maui Kai. The location and views are truly some of the most breathtaking we've ever seen! We will definitely return and would recommend this rental to friends and family.

  • This condo was amazing. From the first day we woke up at 4:30 in the morning to see the sun shine on the islands across the bay, to the whales we saw from the balcony every minute of the day. You are right there on the sand and the ocean. Sleep with the window wide open to listen to the ocean waves hit the beach. It was amazing to be right there on the sand. The sunsets were breath taking every night. The place was clean and organized. Laundry is just down the hall. Bring laundry soap from home. You will never need as much as you will have to buy for a week on the island. Everything in the kitchen is there that you would need to cook a wonderful meal and sit on the balcony to watch the sun set. I suggest bringing some zip lock bags from home if you decide to cook or take sandwiches to the beach or on a day trip thru the island. The BBQ/kitchen area by the pool was great to cook out. There is a FULL kitchen. Dish Wash, Frigate, sinks, and counters space for preparing a meal. The pool and play room added to the BBQ experience.     We loved our stay here!. Great snorkelling at Black Rock. We even saw sea turtles.My boyfriend proposed to me on the beach in front of the Seahouse restaurant. Needless to say that was a highlight.! Thanks for making this beautiful place available.
