With continuous updates, this second row condo feels cozy, yet looks bright. A coat of paint, a comfy sleeper sofa and loveseat, stove, and microwave adds freshness to the condo. In the last year or two, have added a new washer/dryer, refrigerator, carpet and vinyl flooring. The master bedroom, with queen bed has a new comforter, as does the second bedroom with twin beds. A balcony, where you can sip on a drink, enjoy a snack, or look out at the large heated jacuzzi, is accessible off the living room and master bedroom.
Beach access is a step across Shore Drive, a dead-end drive. Three large pools are on site for water play and sunbathing. The kitchen, as well as the dining area, is equipped for making full meals. Doing laundry is made easy with a washer and dryer in the unit.
Located on Shore Drive in Ship Watch Pointe I, you have easy access to the main highways without getting bogged down in traffic. A short walk gets you to the Straw Market, where the Sandbar, convenience store, ice cream parlor, gift shop, sub and pizza shop are located. Bike rental is available at the Straw Market also. Near by is Ocean Annie’s Beach Bar and great burgers at River City cafe. If calendar is reserved for the time you are wanting, then consider another condo in Shore Dr. area. That one is 2 BR,2BA also and may be seen as 15541 on vacation rentals at dot com.
Restaurant Row on Highway #17, is only 1 mile away and offers several great choices for your dining pleasure. If golf is your interest Arcadian Shores and Dunes Club are very near and many great golf courses are within a short drive. Shops such as Tanger Outlet, Colonial Mall, WalMart, Kroger provide opportunities to meet all your needs without getting out in the traffic rush. If you enjoy night life, 2001 Nightclub and Sandals for karoke are close. Theaters that offer live performances are available with a short drive to Alabama Theater, House of Blues, Dixie Stampede. Fishing is available within walking at nearby Apache Pier.

Why the Owner Chose Shipwatch Pointe 1
Fell in love with the Shore Dr. area years ago when my kids and I vacationed there. Was great for the kids in that there is minimum traffic, lots of wide beach to play and close to restaurants.

Having grown up on a farm in eastern NC, there wasn't much time for going to the shore in the summer. When I had opportunity to go to the beach, it was a such a treat! It is still a wonderful treat to be at the beach.........so relaxing, refreshing, allowing opportunity for reviving oneself.

What a georgous condo. We have had a wonderful week with 90 degree weather everday. We got to see shark, sting ray and jelly fish at the Pier. The waves were wonderful. All of the kids had a great experience. This area is perfect for families. Your condo is perfect for families. Your condo held 4 adults and 4 kids without any difficulty. We hate to leave. Hope to be back next summer.

We stayed here in August 2006 and really enjoyed it. This condo is beautifully decorated and very cozy. It really was a home away from home. As far as I'm concerned, Shipwatch Pointe I has the best pool/deck area on Shore drive. Also, the owner (Evelyn) is very nice- lovely to deal with. I highly recommend this condo.
