I also live in Carpinteria (for 17yrs) and just love it and highly recommend it to all. I play tennis golf hike mountains & have an intense knowledge of the area . This house was great for an extended weekend away with my parents, husband and kids. Perfect location within walking distance from the beach, Linden Ave. (restaurants/shops) and a playground. The beds were super-comfy and we had plenty of space to relax and unwind. Thanks!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+, tourists without a car, families with young children.

We recently stayed here and found the house to be perfect. The owner was so kind and accommodating. The house is complete with every imaginable thing you could need. The location is perfect for everything from the beach to Linden street yet is a very quiet location. The beds were the best and we all slept soundly. This house easily slept 4 comfortably and having 2.5 baths was perfect. Everything was clean, well maintained and worked well.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children.

This house was beautifully decorated, comfortable and perfect for our family. Our two adult children had their own bedroom/bathroom and each of us had plenty of "private space" to relax in the house. The master bedroom was like a retreat all to itself. Quiet neighborhood; town and beach were entirely within walking distance. Only complaint -- no wireless internet (although that can be its own blessing as well).
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing.
