This is a beautiful, three bedroom, two and a half bath, Western-themed Condominium, furnished in wonderful amenities you might typically expect in your own home. We provide you with wonerful cozy sheets, loads of soft towels, top-of-the-line kitchenware, full bar, newer gas grill, and lots of spots to relax and kick your feet up!
As you will see, we are folks who enjoy all the conveniences of home, so we have installed one of the few residential DSL/wireless lines in the area. You can bring your own laptop to stay connected while you sit on the upper deck and enjoy the beautiful lake view from the deck. If you are lucky enough to be here on the fourth of July, the fireworks look like they were custom - ordered for you!
While the complex is ideally situated on the main highway just outside Tahoe City, our home is far away from the street, so you have no traffic noise. To save yourself from driving in traffic, you may walk through the parking lot out to the road and hop on a shuttle which takes you around the lake, to any North Shore casino, ski resort, or into Tahoe City. During the summer months, you can bike or walk along the wonderful two mile bike path into town. In winter, the cross country ski resort is walking distance behind the condo, and the major ski resorts, such as Alpine, Squaw, Northstar, Homewood, and Mt. Rose, are all within a 20 minutes or less drive.

We are a couple who enjoys outdoor sports, particularly skiing and hiking, and we also love relaxing. I have been skiing since I was a young child. If I didn't have to work, I'd be skiing. That is my all - time favorite thing to do.
After visiting Tahoe so many times, I finally decided to buy a place.
Now, my husband and I also enjoy summer activities here, including biking, hiking, and boating. When we are here, we let the whole outside world go and just enjoy every second of every day.
Why the Owner Chose Tahoe City
This unit was chosen because it is in Tahoe City, which was important because skiing access is very important to us. We like to ski Squaw, which takes about 15 minutes, Alpine, a little closer, Homewood, which is on the west shore, about 20 minutes away, Northstar, also about a 20 minute drive, and we like Mt. Rose, which is a bit farther but worth the drive, and last but not least, we like the cross country ski area, just behind the condo and a few blocks up, walking distance. This is partially why we chose this complex, because it is in the middle of everything.
Another criteria was the overall look of the complex and its maintenance. We like that it offers full amenities, and is beautifully maintained. Also important to us was that it would be large enough to hold a good deal of friends and family without feeling too crowded. That is why a three bedroom unit was a must.
Lastly, in the winter during ski season, we wanted a condo that would be an easy drive from anyplace, for ourselves and our guests, without requiring an all - wheel - drive vehicle. We have stayed at various places which have been snowed in until the plows arrived to make sure the road was passable. Here, we can jump in our car -- even during or after a big storm -- and we know we will make it out and onto the highway with no worries. There is nothing more frustrating than having to put chains on just to leave one's driveway, which many people around the lake must endure if they are on a hill.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
We love coming home and cooking a big dinner. So we stocked the condo with great cookware. And if our friends come over and we want to serve drinks, we just offer them a libation out of our fully stocked bar.
After a long day of skiing, we also enjoy putting on our bathing suits and heading to the hot tub, especially during a storm. We just love that.
So that we can stay here while we work, we have installed a DSL line and a wireless modem. We're always connected. My husband likes his Ipod, so he leaves the cable here for that to hear his music. And of course the flat - screen TV with extended cable definitely gets used for the football games!!!
In the summer, we use the gas grill every night we are here. We have a beautiful outdoor patio set with chairs, which we enjoy greatly while we enjoy the sunset from the deck.
We swim at the pool most every day in the summer, and we enjoy playing tennis at the tennis courts. Additionally, one of our favorite past times is going up the hill to what in the wintertime is the cross country ski area. In the summer, that whole area becomes a mountain bikers' and hikers' paradise. And it's just a ten minute walk.
Also just a short walk is the lake! The picture above was taken at Pete's Pier, which is at the county park literally a hop, skip and a jump from the condo. Lastly, also near to us, is the public boat launch, which we drive to in less than five minutes. Our condo complex allows for boat parking up to two weeks at a time during the summer.
But most of all, we like the comfort and homey feel of our condo. We particularly enjoy the Western Culture theme. Each piece was chosen with love and appreciation for our western heritage. Enjoy!
