Nature at its best with seabirds, horseshoe crabs, hermit crabs, and porpoise. Some of the best fishing in the area is found right in front of the house including redfish, sea trout, cobia, and flounder. Wake up to the beauty of the sunrise over the surf and listen to the continuous rhythm of the ocean from your bedroom. A large family room with wood-burning stove and circular bar looks out over the ocean and is lined with picture windows. A large outside deck off living room and master bedroom is great for grilling and sunning and includes an outside shower. Visit Apalachicola, a historic city with antebellum homes, museums, shrimp boats, and plenty of waterfront restaurants only 18 miles away. Saint George State Park and famous Dog Island are visible straight out in front of this home. Shells are plentiful at both of these locations.
