Your lake home is wonderful. My mom, myself, my two sisters and a niece had a nice get-a-way weekend and although it rained the entire weekend, it was very relaxing. You have EVERYTHING here to make it feel like home...with the exception of noisy distractions! I love the decor as well. Thank you for sharing your home. We will definitely return.

Thank you to all of our wonderful guests for a fabulous 3 summers. We are now turning the helm over to David and Laura, the new owners of this very special retreat at the best kept secret in NC. We hope you enjoy your time at Hyco Lake as much as we have. Jerry and Susan

I stayed at this little piece of paradise for three months, from September to December, 2007. I fell in love with the house, the lake, the people and the wonderful wildlife in the area. If you're lucky enough to stay here I truly envy you. Enjoy!

We really enjoyed a stay over Thanksgiving weekend. Everything was as described and the owners are wonderful to work with. If your looking for a place that will make you feel like your in another world, this is it!! Extremely private and quiet and the fish are big, I didn't catch any but the water was so clear you could see them.
