For the last 15 years it has been the Italian home and work-place of the artists Mark Visione and Marion Visione-Thuring. By car Poreta is only one and a half hours from Rome and about half an hour from Perugia. The village is only nine kilometers from the beautiful town of Spoleto and within easy reach of all the cultural and natural attractions that Umbria and central Italy have to offer, Spoleto and Perugia, Assisi, Todi, Orvieto, Spello, Norcia and Castelluccio. Casa dei Sogni has spacious rooms with a happy mix of traditional Umbrian architecture and modern comfort.
