The view from the deck-picture you in the hammock! - Blue Ridge Mountains Vacation Rental The Four Bears Lodge This 1 1/2 year old beautiful 2000 square-foot home is two miles from Banner Elk. Enjoy the gorgeous view of the mountains and a pond from the huge deck while you grill out on the Weber gas grill. Relax on the leather sofa and enjoy a fire in the stone fireplace (gas). Watch a movie on the 27-inch TV with DirecTV service and a DVD player. Walk down the street and hike along a great creek with several little waterfalls. Downstairs, this home has two bedrooms, one with two twin beds and one with a full bed, a full bathroom with tub and shower, a full kitchen, and a large Living Room/Dining room. Two sliding doors open out to the huge deck. Upstairs is a loft with a full-sized futon, the master bedroom with a queen bed, and a full bath with an oversized tub and separate shower. There is another TV with a VCR, DVD player, and Sony Playstation2 including some games in the loft area. Close by you will find the three ski/golf areas, Sugar Mountain, Beech Mountain, and Hawks Nest all within 15 minutes, Banner Elk six minutes, Blowing Rock and Boone within 30 minutes. Sorry no pets please.
