We stayed here for a winter weekend with our 2 young children. They loved it. There is almost every Disney movie ever made for them to watch! And my son loved the bunk beds. It was perfect for us and the price is certainly very reasonable. Linda (the owner) is great and easy to work with. Would highly recommend it for an easy family getaway!

This is a small but attractive neighborhood home in a very convenient location walkable to everything in New Buffalo. Not right on the beach, but quiet and relaxing, with a spacious backyard and privacy. Simple but very well kept. Good for a single person "retreat," or a couple or with young children on a budget wanting to be near all the amenities of SW Michigan. Excellent for the price.

I am so thankful that Linda's home was available for my autumn week in New Buffalo. It was everything the other reviews said it was and more! If you are looking for a homey place, lovingly maintained, walking distance to town and the beach then this is it. I hope to return in warmer weather so that I can take advantage of the yard, with it's beautiful, enormous tree shading the picnic table. I found the home clean as a whistle and since I left it nearly as I found it (Linda's cleaner than I will ever be), Linda sent me a lovely note and refunded my cleaning deposit. I was stunned at how honest and kind she is. Thank you Linda, for opening your home!

This place was a little further from the beach than I thought it would be, but that didn't matter because the owner charges half of what a lot of other condos are renting for in New Buffalo. If you get the full week, it works out to less than $100 a day. And for the money you get a clean and spacious two bedroom cottage with a full kitchen ad a separate family room area. We saved a lot of money by being able to cook many of our meals, rather than restaurant meals. We loved the backyard too. As for the walk to the beach, well, we all need a little exercise, right? It was definitely still a walkable distance. Seriously, this was one of the best week-long vacations we ever took. The most reasonable in cost too. We took the train from the city (only $24 each way) and with the low cost of the owners rental were able to stay a full week for the cost of a long weekend elsewhere. We're already talking about renting the cottage again next summer.

This is a wonderful place to stay! We enjoyed every minute of our time, and felt very very comfortable as soon as we stepped in the door. Home is very clean and has everything you could want. Owner is wonderful and so easy to work with (thank you!). We will absolutely be back, and stay here again! It's a nice walk to downtown and the beach! We pushed a stroller and pulled a wagon with everything we needed for a day at the beach. Perfect! And so nice to come home to a place away from the hustle and bustle. Thanks so much!

I brought my family here for a our first vacation with baby and this home provided everything we need to make it a pleasant experience. The property is as advertised; clean, well-maintained and very cozy. It is perfectly located just a short walk from the town and beach but you can also be comfortable just relaxing at home so you get the best of both worlds. To top things off, the owner was amazing to work with and very helpful all along the way. We definitely plan on returning to this home in the future.

My young son and mother and I stayed at this lovely cottage. The owner was great to work with, very responsive and pleasant. We found the cottage to have all the amenities of home! The experience overall was like staying at a friend's house :) Very close to town, shopping, beach. The yard was fun for our son: a little ball, hide and seek, biking in the driveway. Lovely. We plan to return in the fall!

We thoroughly enjoyed your vacation home. It was one of the cleanest VRBO properties we have stayed at and appreciated your amenities that made us feel at home including your DVD library. We found your cottage a convenient walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The beach was clean and we even got lucky at the casino. Our family enjoyed the yard for BBQ’s, and games. Your flexibility in scheduling , reasonable cost, and customer focused approach were appreciated. We plan on recommending your property to our friends and will be back again. Thank you.

My wife and I stayed there recently. Very cute cottage. Beach is 8 blocks away with a large breakwater to fish off of and a pretty cool handicap access that puts you directly ON the beach. The beach is large and very clean. Lots of salmon fishing charters to choose from. Four Winds Casino about 2 miles away [$200-300/night for a room there]. Neighbors are nice and are a good information source. My wife is going to be renting it this Fall and Winter for her "girls" weekends. Owner very nice and easy to work with.

Thank you so much for the use of your quaint, charming, cottage-feeling home. The location was perfect, a short walk to downtown and the beach. Easy access to nice golf courses and the Casino. We also love visiting Chicago by train ride. The home was perfect for my husband and I, but we would bring other family with us next time. It is more than enough room for friends or children. The home is well cared for and the price is more than reasonable for this area. We look forward to returning. Michelle in Kentucky

My husband, myself and my son had a wonderful stay in this cottage. The owner went above and beyond to make sure our stay was just as if we were in our own home. The location is EXCELLENT and the road noise is very muffled by the businesses next door. The walk to downtown is very easy and quick. Everything about this cottage was wonderful! I HIGHLY recommend you strongly consider this home as your next vacation destination in New Buffalo!!!

Property was as advertised, with all amenties and a high standard of hygiene. When you have travelled from England to spend your holiday, it is rewarding and a relief to find that the rental property lives up to its billing. The area itself is very tranquil, but there is plenty to do and lovely beaches. Taking the local train into Chicago for a day trip was also fun. We would recommend this property as a good, value for money vacation home.

Nice accommodations, honestly represented in the pics and write up. All the comforts of home and then some. Quiet setting, comfy beds and living space. We really enjoyed the area restaurants and shops. Oh, and the beach, that was great too!
