This well-maintained luxurious, executive four bedroom, four and half bath home is well suited for a variety of renters, from business groups to 4 couples, "girls get away", "guys get away", 2-3 families or your 3 generation family. The open design of the house is inviting, bright, & airy. The thoughtful layout of the bedrooms gives privacy to everyone.
There are four master suites with their own bathrooms, TV's, & outside access to the hot tub. All of the bedrooms bath tile floors are heated (nice to use year round)! Two bedrooms are located on the main floor & two are upstairs. One of the largest upstairs bedrooms also has additional beds: a bunk with a double on the bottom & twin on the top. In addition, there is an open loft equipped as an office with printer & wireless high speed internet.
The great room invites you with two couches, two leather recliners, and one large red, "sink into" leather chair with ottoman. Enjoy the warmth of the gas fireplace while watching your favorite movie or HD channels on the large HD TV with wireless blu-ray player. Watch movies from Netflix, listen to the in-house stereo or just sit back, relax and listen to all the day’s stories.
Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen that is open to the great room & dining area. It has all the utensils you need for a satisfying, "cooked at home" gourmet meal. The spacious kitchen is equipped to cook a scrumptious Thanksgiving feast or cut up a delivered pizza. The hub of the gathering spaces is the large, solid cherry dining room table which easily seats 10 & is also a great place for games.
Outside dining is a treat on the large, concrete paver deck. There is great privacy & is a wonderful area to grill, hang out & watch the kids play some sports on the large grassy park area that is just steps from the deck. (The deck is also enclosed if you have little ones to contain). The hot tub is located nearby with privacy & territorial views of Smith Rocks & the clock tower at the resort.
Our location is very near the golf courses (Ridge & Challenge & Resort courses), sports complexes & pools. An easy five mile drive puts you in the City of Redmond, a 15 minute drive & you are in Bend. Eagle Crest is centrally located for all of Central Oregon's golf and multitude of other recreational activities.

We did a quick three night stay at this house in Eagle Crest with another family and had a wonderful time. The house is great. Set up very well for kids and multiple families. The amenities and photos were exactly as described. Everything we could possibly need. The location was great as far as quick access to the Sports Center, Pro Shop and Restaurant. The field behind the house was perfect for the kids to throw the football, play catch, etc. and you can keep an eye on them from the living area and deck. The property is very well maintained and organized. The owners were extremely easy and welcoming to work with. We would absolutely recommend this property and will definitely rent from them again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

This home was perfect for our Mother/Daughter annual getaway--the house had everything needed for a wonderful weekend. The house was exactly as the pictures show and was exceptionally clean. We plan on returning again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

Thank you for offering this beautiful, comfortable home! It was also easy to work with the owner - we had a very pleasant experience. The house is fully stocked, all we had to bring was our clothes, personal items, and food. The kitchen is well stocked with spices, etc. The DVD movie collection is quite small, so bring your favorite movies. We stayed at the house over New Year's. It was absolutely perfect, the house is spotless and totally stocked with everything you could need... board games, wi-fi, kitchen gadgets, etc. The owners are also very pleasant to work with. My family all congregated in Redmond for a high school graduation and the combination of this beautiful house and the gorgeous weather made it a memorable time! We had a full house but it still was very spacious, with lots of light, making us all feel happy to be there. We took a nice bike ride with the bicycles in the garage, cooked gourmet dinners in the well-stocked kitchen, sat in and around the hot tub on a starry night, played guitar hero for a couple of hours--we all enjoyed ourselves. The house is decorated in a lovely way and the beds are very comfortable. So what more would I ask?? That just remains a rhetorical question.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

What a great vacation home! Our golfing group, four couples, couldn't have asked for a more perfect home to enjoy the trip! You've thought of everything- even heated tile floors! Every need was met, as you've equipped your home to serve any need. We each took a turn at serving dinner and none of us missed any item for preparation. Relaxing after a day of golf was our priority -- your home offered this, and more. You can be certain that we'll plan another trip to Heaven, in 2009! This home is perfect for four couples. The bedroom setup couldn't be any better. The kitchen was okay....it really needs more gadgets. Nothing major but we needed a zester...bigger pans....corningware....just a few things we really could have used. The only major thing was the television. Six remotes??? And the instructions were hard to find and still harder to understand. The guys got pretty frustrated when they wanted to watch football and it took forever to figure out how to turn on something that should have been simple...the tv. Then to try and watch a dvd....need I say more? The house was okay clean but not very well stocked. Our bathroom had zero towels as did another bath. Some towels were in the dryer. There were no throw type blankets to cuddle up with on cool nights. But beyond that, I would stay again but would bring everything from home that we needed.Owner response: Appreciated the comments. We've cooked and so have several others (see comments)many large group dinners including Thanksgiving feasts. This is the first we've been told there wasn't enough in the kitchen including pans etc...a zester?...we have everything from several cork screws to a Cuisinart. As for the TV it's a work in progress, as I pointed out to our guests while responding to their concerns. I guess we need to hire a 13 year old. I did offer $100 to the first person that can program the darn thing. Not sure why there were no towels...this comment is the first we heard of the problem...a call to our management service would have taken care of the problem. When we left our home the day before our guests arrival there were towels in place. We are very sorry these guest didn't have the optimum experience we have built our reputation upon for the past 19 years. The remotes will be fixed and we'll confer with our housekeeping company. We look forward to serving the Newport group again. Jerry

We left your home today and were so sad to come back to "life in the real world." What a great escape your home gave us. And yes...everyone in our group agreed with the other comments...the beds are so comfortable. We've stayed in several homes in Sunriver searching for the perfect vacation house for our family. This is a spacious and beautiful home.All you need for a wonderful retreat is here from comfy beds in luxurious master suites for all four beddrooms, to a great hot tub,large dining table and even bikes to take on the trails.So glad we could stay here with our family.We all had fun at the sports center,pools and some even went golfing.Great family time,thanks to the Moss's.Did you find this review helpful? About the owner: We are a newly retired empty nester couple who enjoy many of Central Oregon's activities; golf, bike riding, hiking & exploring the lakes on kayaks. Jerry retired as a school principal & Kathy retired as a dental hygienist but still teaches part-time at Mt. Hood Community College. When not in Eagle Crest, we are at home in Camas, Washington near family or vacationing in Hawaii or Arizona. We have been enjoying central Oregon since the mid 1980's & still love all its beauty.
Why the Owner Chose Eagle Crest:
Kathy and I have owned recreational rental property for almost 30 years. We first owned 2 different homes in Sunriver when we were enjoying snow activities on Mt. Bachelor. We fell in love with the Eagle Crest resort located in the high dessert with its wide open spaces & closer proximity to all of Central Oregon's activities. Eagle Crest & Redmond boast of better weather than nearby Bend & Sunriver. The snow stays mostly in the mountains & the weather allows 2 out of the 3 golf courses to remain open year round at Eagle Crest. Eagle Crest is also 45 min. closer (than Sunriver) to the Portland area & boasts a low keyed, friendly atmosphere. Many of the resort amenities are available to our renters at no cost: the pools, tennis courts, rachetball courts etc & sports facilities are free for up to six people at a time. This can be quite a cost savings when you are bringing your family.

We enjoy having a home that is well equipped with plenty of amenities. We are active owners and pride ourselves on constantly paying attention to maintanence and needed repairs. Our goal is to keep the house looking as fresh as it was when it was brand new. We travel ourselves and have been able to see what does and does not make for a satisfying stay.
Our favorite moments at our home are watching the beautiful sun rises from our living area or deck, enjoying the private tranquility on the back deck, & seeing the blue sky as a constant back drop.
We also love the central location of our home in Central Oregon; near Smith Rocks, Mt. Bachelor, all of the regions golf courses, lakes, & other outdoor activities. Eagle Crest has a wonderfully friendly atmosphere with all the amenities that everyone expects of a first rate resort. Cruiser bikes with an "Alley Cat" for kids as well as a "kiddy" cart for towing the kids behind mom or dad. Heated floors in each of the four master baths. Many serving dishes and appliances such as a Cuisinart food processor.
