The Saco River is extrememly clean and swimmable and has a sandy bottom. It is a wooded river bank setting. Canoes and kayaks are allowed on the Saco, but nothing motorized. Swans Falls is nearby and is an excellent place for fishing.
We enjoy vacationing here because it offers us serenity and privacy with a 100 acre preserve and a multitude of outdoor experiences at our fingertips. If you crave activities of a different nature (dining,movies,shopping) North Conway is nearby and offers many amenities and stunning views of the Mount Washington Valley. |
