Our stay at Sealodge recently was everything we had hoped for- beautiful view, comfortable accommodations, close to amenities. We hope to visit Kauai again and will for sure stay at Sealodge again (if it is available!). We especially liked how accessible Hanalei Bay was, as we surfed the Bay everyday, and enjoyed the organic market and all the reasonably priced restaurants in the area. We will be back! Thank you!

Thanks so much, Tim and Cathy, for allowing us to enjoy your Sealodge condo in January-February 2012. We spent nine days watching the whales cavort, reading in the window seat, getting around the island to see the sights during the day, and enjoying the sounds of the ocean in the evening. The property was very clean and mostly well-maintained. The cleaning man even stopped by mid-stay to give us clean linens There were a few little maintenance items to be attended to, and I left a list of those in the condo. The kitchen was well-supplied with dishes and cooking utensils, so mostly we prepared meals there. We visited the wet and dry caves, Kee Beach, Tunnels for snorkeling (fantastic!), Poipu, Waimea Canyon, and Kiluea Lighthouse. We would definitely recommend this property to family or friends and hope to get back over there again ourselves. The listing accurately describes the rental's appearance, and the owner's responded promptly to any questions we posed.

This was our 4th stay in this condo. Great view, great location. The external architecture of Sealodge is not to my taste,but that's a minor negative.

I contacted Cathy after two other property owners agreed to rent their condos for 3 days during Christmas, but changed their mind after accepting payment! I was quite disappointed about the wasted effort. Cathy was nothing like them. She was willing to rent, was very responsive to my emails, took only a small deposit and stated her 100% refund policy. The rate was very reasonable too. I was amazed!! It is unfortunate that I had to cancel when my timeshare suddenly showed availability. I will recommend Cathy to anyone and everyone. She is a gem and I felt terrible that I had to cancel.

The time my husband and I had at the condo was very nice, it was clean and we enjoyed our stay. I feel the same as some others about the interior as far as the decor, some things seem a bit dated but that wasn't anything bad. The condo was very well accomated with boogie boards, chairs for a patio, and some linens. I wished there was more towels and some beach towels too-would have liked to have those for the beach. There was a guidebook which was very helpful with some things and also reading other peoples experiences in Kauai was interesting as well. Tim & Cathy are very nice people and it was well worth the money to spend on the condo especially with the beautiful view. Thanks again!

The condo had everything we needed and we loved the view. We appreciated having the laundry basket and drying rack. The laundry itself is on the lower level of the next building through an unmarked door. Be sure to bring quarters and your own detergent as there are no machines for them. The jogging path was great and we appreciated the dining suggestions. We had a bad experience with Go!Mokulele airline and ended spedning an extra night in Kona-at our own expense, after three cancelled flights in 18 hours by them due to mechanical/maintenance issues.

stunning views and a very special location

This condo has an amazing view of the ocean, which can be enjoyed from both inside through the large windows with sofa to recline on, and from the balcony outside. The property was clean and fresh when we got there. The Sealodge beach is down a winding path which can be tricky in places but is SO worth it. truly beautiful and hardly a soul there. We really enjoyed the proximity to Hanalei Bay which is just 5 mins drive and has a magical quality about it all, from the beach to the town itself with its cute stores, cafes and restaurants. Tim and Cathy the owners were great throughout the process, always quick to respond to questions and helpful and friendly to deal with. The only thing I think could be improved is the decor in the condo, which is a bit dated, although everything works fine! This was a real highlight of a long trip - thanks Tim and Cathy!

Owner response:All in all this is a very good review. I was a bit surprised about the comment about the dated decor, however, as we work hard to keep the condo up to date. I contacted the client hoping it was something I could "fix". The response was that they were referring to the carpet/flooring/window coverings. Since all of these are brand new within the year, I guess it is just a difference in taste. The carpet is a light colored tightly woven berber, the linoleum is in a bamboo pattern, and the window coverings are a mixture of white cotton tab curtains and white blinds.

My husband and I loved staying at your condo. It was exactly as advertised and felt roomy and comfortable. We loved the homey touches-- review books and notes on restaurants and beaches. We appreciated the 2 fans along with the ceiling fan. We considered the condo a terrific value and bought a few groceries so we could prepare our own breakfast (and therefore had more money to spend on eating out at dinner). The property was clean and the grounds well cared for. The view was lovely and it was handy to have such a short hike to the beach. This is our 7th trip to the Kauai; we love the North Shore and will be back. We would love to rent from you again. Thank you!

Hi Tim and Cathy, We want to thank you for allowing us to stay at your condo. It was absolutely perfect. After a long flight, we arrived and felt at home immediately. The pictures you provide don't do it justice. The view is amazing and having just a ten foot walk out to the cliffs overlooking the brilliant blue ocean is absolutely perfect. We spent almost every evening watching the sunset from the lawn or the lanai. It was so relaxing listening to the ocean as we fell asleep, and so rejuvenating to see the ocean view from bed when we woke up. We are definitely planning to come back either next year or the year after that and would love to stay here again. Again, thank you so much for opening the condo up to us! Mahalo! Kira and James

Perfect Hawaiian Getaway

Thanks to Cathy and Tim for our recent stay at Sealodge in Princeville, Kauai. It really was a perfect getaway. We absolutely love that view out the living room windows and the bedroom, too. The furniture in the condo was very comfortable. We had sunny days but not too hot and cool nights with a little rain. The condo was well-stocked and provided us with the relaxing vacation that we had wanted. We ate at superb restaurants in Hanalei and Kiluaea and snorkeled off of the Na Pali Coast. Our only complaint was that our stay was only 5 days. We will be sure to return to Condo B6 in the near future. Thanks again.

Tim & Cathy, Thank you - Your condo is exactly what we expected after reviewing the photos you posted. Clean, quiet and in a great location. You have stocked this unit with everything needed for a great getaway. This location at Sealodge is close to The Princeville Ranch adventure - a great zipline and horseride. For the golfers, you can't beat the Princeville Prince course. Any number of beaches and great restaurants are also within a short drive. We look forward to a return visit and would certainly stay here again.

The condo was exactly as shown; beautiful view and fully equipped. While the complex is older - it is very well maintained and the grounds are lush. We had a wonderful stay in this condo at Sea Lodge. The condo is nicely decorated, very clean, with a great view of the ocean. The condo is nicely appointed with everything we have in our home up to and including chairs and items to take to the beach with you that are too big to bring on an airplane. It is very quiet and relaxing there with only the sound of the ocean waves crashing on the lava rock at the bottom of the cliff. Speaking of the cliff there is a private beach and trail located about 50 feet from the condo. At the bottom is one of the most beautiful places I have seen on earth. If you make your way around the lava rock shore line you will find private beaches, a nice waterfall, tropical foilage, and acres of pristine coral reef. Has your therapist ever asked you to think of a really nice place to try and relax and you can't think of one? Go here and fill your head with images as well as all your senses. Cathy and Tim the owners were great to work with. They were very responsive, flexible, and accomodating to our every need. They treat you like you are their special guest. We plan to rent with them in the future and return to this beautiful place as soon as possible.

5/17-24/2003 This was our second stay at Sea Lodge in Princeville, Kauai. Location, weather, lifestyle, view wonderful. In our opinion, a superior way to step away from the bustle of mainland life. B6 unit was perfect for the two of us.
