Stockbridge in Summer is spectacular! 1 and 1/2 mile just north of Stockbridge.
Spacious, very CLEAN & comfortable 3 bedroom, 2 bath home on two acres of rolling yard in a great central location close to everything. Woods in the back include beautiful birch trees. This charming, quiet, private, dead-end road has a quiet country setting. There is high speed DSL, but enjoy The Berkshires not your office work!
1st floor is all tile and hard wood while the 2nd floor bedrooms are carpeted. The tiled den has a sleeper sofa and cable HD TV. A large deck with gas BBQ and hammock is through the sliding doors just off the dining room. It is prefect for grilling and enjoying the Berkshire summer breeze. 2,500 sq ft house.
This home is located in the heart of Berkshire Activities. Stockbridge is a two minute drive away featuring the Norman Rockwell Museum, Berkshire Theater Festival and Naumkeug Estate and of course the beautiful historic Red Lion Inn. Tanglewood is 10 minutes away as well as Lenox, Great Barrington, Lee, and the Prime Outlets for shopping. YOU ARE CLOSE TO EVERYTHING!

"I'm glad we went to the Berkshire Theatre Festival and had the experience. We ate at Once Upon a Table first - thanks for the recommendation - fantastic food! Overall it was a wonderful weekend; we went to The Mount and Arrowhead, and down to Bash Bish Falls, and briefly explored Great Barrington and West Stockbridge, along with Stockbridge and Lenox. It's my third time going to the Berkshires and I always love it there! The house was absolutely perfect - great location, beautiful setting, and we really relied on all the info you gave us - thanks!" ....vacationers meeting here from Washington DC, Boston, and Connecticut.

The family that rented our home July 2007 have already rented July 2008. They loved the easy access to Tanglewood and the theatres. And the home is so clean, comfy and has everything needed to have a great vacation in the Berkshires.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Hart house is open, spacious and very comfortable. Beautiful, quiet setting on a quiet street but very easy access to everything in the area. Owners are very easy to work with and accommodating. Looking forward to returning at a later date.
