Completely renovated home in the heart of historic Cape Charles, a quiet town with friendly people and southern charm. This home is only a short walk from the beach which has nearly doubled in size due to a recent expansion project. Golfers can enjoy a round at Bay Creek Resort also located in Cape Charles which has Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus World Class PGA Signature Golf Courses and several fine restaurants for dining. Bay Creek also operates a marina that has shops and restaurants within walking distance from the house.
The master bedroom has queen bed and the other two bedrooms have twin beds with a trundle. There is also a full size sleep sofa in the living room. The kitchen is stocked with anything you'll need for cooking. Use the side porch for storing bicycles and beach chairs. Bring a book to read while you sit and rock in the rocking chair on the front porch.

Why the Owner Chose Cape Charles
We love that Cape Charles is a such a very relaxing, peaceful, and friendly place. I fell in love with the historic town immediatley. The beach is very close to the house and we like the fact that the bay is a calm place for small children to swim (our daughter was 2 yrs old when we purchased the property). I felt I didn't have to worry so much for her safety so I was able to relax more on our visits.
The Unique Benefits of this House
We are within walking distance to the beach or the bar(s). We have two adult sized bicycles for your enjoyment and a charcoal grill for cookouts.

We did not know what to expect of Cape Charles or the house we rented. If you are looking for a place to completely relax and be free of any and all time pressures, with plenty of opportunity to swim, kayak, fish, go crabbing, play great golf - should you choose to - Cape Charles is for you. If you are looking for amusement parks, big waves and crowds, choose a different destination. If Cape Charles sounds good, consider this rental: very nicely rehabbed, great layout (totally open floor plan downstairs!), just blocks (or a fun golf cart ride) away from the beach, restaurants, marina....This was the most enjoyable vacation we've had in years. Our 6 & 8 year old boys can't wait to return next year!

Our family's visit to Cape Charles was wonderful. The house was just lovely. We enjoyed the stay, relaxed in the lovely setting and greatly appreciated the lovely home we spent our time in. The furnishings were perfect, the neighborhood was quiet and it was close to the bay. Great place to stay.

Cape Charles is a sleepy, relaxed, southern town with many charming features.My children enjoyed kayaking in the wildlife preserve and learning about the local ecosystem. The locals were friendly, and the food was great!

Highly reccommend this vacation home and Cape Charles in general. The house is exceptionally clean and quaint in a quiet neighborhood which is in walking distance of all amenities. Great restaurants and many things to do nearby! The renter made the experience easy and I would definitely return to this property!

My family and I had a wonderful vacation in Cape Charles. The Eastern shore of Virgina is a beautiful place to come to relax and have fun. Cape Charles offers great beaches that are clean and beautiful. The people here are friendly and inviting. This house was charming and delightful. It is in a great neighborhood location just minutes from the beach and restaurants. I would highly recommend Cape Charles and this house to anyone. We can't wait to go back.
