Take nature tours up The Monkey River and spot the elusive Manatee, Crocks and Howler monkeys. Go overland to explore lost Mayan cities,the largest with populations of over one million people.
These cities thrived, then mysteriously disappeared before Columbus discovered America. Enjoy the ultimate in scuba diving,swim with the Whale Shark, the largest fish in the ocean. As for fishing?? The flats in Placencia contain Tarapin, Permit, and Bone Fish, WOW!! Now for the Reef and deep sea fishing. The sea is teaming with over 100 variety of fish.
Forget those other expensive crowded houses that aren't really in Placencia. This house is located 100 yards from the main street. All the shopping, restaurants, and night life are right there. No Long Rides!! But you have the privacy of a dead end road that ends at the Lagoon. And don't forget those memorable sunsets from the third floor observation deck.
