This is a different kind of review. I have booked this condo but we have not had our stay yet. That being said, I want to say that dealing with Marianne is the best. In the process of booking she was on the phone with me for well over a half hour, giving me tips on what to do during our stay in Hawaii. She is really passionate about offering her clients the best. Again yesterday, I called her back asking for some touring advice. I got voice mail but she quickly returned my call and really gave me some good advice on what to do with the questions I had. She truly wants to offer, not only a nice place to stay, but advice on making the visit a memory of a lifetime. This makes me very excited to stay in her Condo and I look forward to updating everyone about our upcoming stay in February of 2013. Tim from Iowa

Great place to honeymoon

Great place to stay! We stayed here for our honeymoon Dec 6-11. We looked for a place that wasn't a crowded resort or had a high rise hotel feel, and this place was perfect. There was low foot traffic near this condo. The property was well-maintained and well located. It's close to Lahaina, and there's a regular grocery store/mini-mall to shop for food and supplies just north of Lahaina. Don't really need to fight the crowds and traffic at Costco by the airport, unless you're staying a long time and need items in bulk. A drive north on the highway along the shore becomes less touristy and will reveal a few surprises for scenery and "local" beaches. We plan to go back.

Aloha , We just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed your beautiful, comfortable condo and to thank you for all the little extras. The grounds were so gorgeous , everywhere one looked was beauty and everything we needed was there , from the beach , pool, grounds,condo.We had no reason to leave.We had early morning walks on the beach,late night swims in the pool snorkling with the turtles ,whale watching,entertaining surfers,and saw many shooting stars while laying on the beach one night.All in all we had an absolutely amazing, wonderful vacation and will definently return.

I was just telling another guest two days ago that everyone that stays in this condo LOVES it and ends up being returning guests ~ if not every year then every other year.. I believe that it is because the quality of everything in it PLUS the CLEAN factor but also because of the perfect location 'island wise' and 'building wise' too since you have no foot traffic in front of this condo!! So much more privacy here due to being at the end of complex!! I am sure you noticed that the condos near the bbqs and pool have lots of people walking around the condos ~ never a problem where our condo is!! I am glad that you got to enjoy the new air conditioner too!! I know it really cools down the place when the trade winds die down although it is pretty safe to say that you will always be in 80-85 degree weather in Maui and that you actually want the trade winds to keep the temperature nice and tropical warm! haha When it hits 88 degrees in Maui, everyone thinks that they are going to croak of a heat stroke - we are all so spoiled with fabulous Maui weather, aren't we??.!!! Let me know when you are ready to be our local 'Maui babe' again and your condo will be waiting for you!!!

I had intentions of writing this review as soon as I returned, but time has a way of flying by. We stayed in this condo last Nov 27-Dec5 and were very pleased. It is a beautiful location. In fact, we enjoyed the condo so much, it was dificult to force ourselves to leave for meals. The kitchen is well equiped and the outside grills are a bonus. We found we could go to the Fish Market and cook a wonderful meal saving tons of money. You could not beat the view from the lanai at any restaruant in town. Attention to detail is evident in the owner's choice of furnishings. The condo is comfortable - real furniture, not some flimsy wicker. The bed is wonderful - high quality pillowtop. Nothing is worse than having a restless night when on vacation. I would not rent a place in Maui without air conditioning. I'm from the South so I'm accustomed to hot weather, but it does get hot in Maui -even in December. Having an AC to cool off the bedroom is a great benefit, especially if you want an afternoon nap after playing in the water. The only negative we found was that there was no beach in front of the condo during the time that we were there. I understand the beach comes and goes depending on Mother Nature's whims.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.

Sorry, we are a little late posting our comments about your condo and we apologize. We stayed in your condo last year (Oct. 25 - Nov. 4) and we LOVED it! We arrived at night to the tiki torches and the sound of the ocean. We immediately made dinner and ate outside on the wonderful patio. We loved that the condo was on the first floor and literally 10 feet away to the ocean!! The following days were full of zip-lining, the road to Hana (and we ran into the winery and fell in LOVE with the Maui Blanc. We recently just ordered some new bottles of wine online!), snorkeling w/ the huge sea turtles (right outside the condo which was GREAT), dining in some great restaurants, taking a dinner cruise on the Pacific Whale Foundation (and the food was AWESOME!) participating in Halloween in Lahaina (which is crazy but REALLY fun), and soaking up the sun on the private beach which is only 50 feet away. We really can't wait to go back. The condo had everything we needed and it was so CLEAN! It was great to lounge and catch up on some reading too. Overall, our adventure to Maui was unforgettable and we have the pictures to prove it. We are looking forward to visiting again. Marianne, Thank you so much for an amazing experience in Maui. I can't imagine staying anywhere else but your condo on Maui! Every day Munish and I would talk about how lovely your place is, and how glad we are that we didn't stay in a resort! It was private, romantic, well equipped, upscale, extremely clean and tastefully decorated. Your hospitality shines through!!! We did see the turtles, and even snorkeled with them right off of your beach (did not get too close though!). Please feel free to use me as a reference for any future vacationers. And let me know how else I can help, I'm happy to place a shining review. A few things we really enjoyed on the island: actually, we really like the trip to Haleakala crater, but we did not do the whole sunrise thing. We figured we're here to relax, so we left around 6am to get there (our jet lag had us getting up early, which was great). We did a hike down the side of the crater called Halemanu, which was steep but beautiful. It's a rugged, rough place, and it was nice to see this part of Maui. Of course we loved all the beaches and snorkeling - we snorkeled almost every day. The drive along the north coast was gorgeous, and there's a 4 mile hike that can be done near the end of this drive with amazing views. Eating: we did a lot of cooking at the condo! The fish market and farmer's market were great for that. Also, we liked Sansei's, and we went to Roy's for a splurge (very good). Okay, thanks again for everything! Best wishes, Sarita

Your condo was great. We really enjoyed our stay and the view. You went the extra mile with the luggage tags, the information and the recommendation on the Reverend Beverly Powers. We were married on the property at sunset and it was gorgeous. Thanks for everything and we hope to come back again.

Hi Marianne, Just wanted to drop a short note to say how very very much we enjoyed our vacation at your condo. Best holiday hands down by far - that we've ever had!! Thanks for all of the great info - you were right on about Warren & Annabelle's - I can see why one lady in the audience had been there 10 times. Your condo was first class all the way, we couldn't have asked for a better place or location - the view and proximity to the ocean were 5+ Star. Thanks for going the extra mile on all of the info packages, luggage tags, reviews, phone calls etc that you provided both before and during our stay. This helped alot because to be truthful, we were overwhelmed the first day with the vast array of things to do and see on the island. We can definitely see why almost everyone we talked to keeps coming back to Maui year after year - just like the turtles and the whales! Hopefully you will have room again for us next year. We are 'experienced' condo renters and your condo is one of the best we've rented. The view, nightly sunsets & bbq area was just perfect. The condo is in tip top shape and extremely clean ... having a well stocked kitchen was an added bonus! The grounds of Kuleana are so beautiful. Very nice complex. We loved it!

Dean & Marianne, Let me say first off that this place is SO nice. It is so cozy and we felt right at home. We were so close to the ocean, we couldn't believe it at first. My new husband and I stayed at your place for our honeymoon and we didn't want to leave. All the special things you did for us was very appreciated, since you knew it was our honeymoon. We had the time of our life. We were able to relax and enjoy our stay with all the ammentities you provide (we felt like we were at our own little Ritz Carlton). We has so much fun surfing and snorkeling right outside and we saw tons of fish and turtles. We were able to sit out on the patio and enjoy those beautiful Maui sunsets you told us about everynight while we ate dinner. Our dream honeymoon would have never been possible if we hadn't stayed at your condo we felt so spoiled! Thank you again!!! Cynthia and Mark
