Standing on the Dock - Beaufort, SC Vacation Rental Located just 4 miles south of Historic Downtown Beaufort, and less than 9 miles from Parris Island, this four bed, three bath waterfront property sits on a beautiful 180 acre island covered with large, moss draped oaks and over 2 miles of surrounding deep water creeks. This property is located on deepwater, and has an indoor pool, indoor hot tub, 42 inch HDTV, high speed internet access, wet bar and open den. Grocery stores, Restaurants, Shopping, and Downtown Beaufort are all within 4 minutes of the house. The house has been renovated with tiled and wood flooring, new stainless steel kitchen appliances, and furniture from Bali, Indonesia, and other Sea Islands of the World. The kitchen is fully equipped and linens and towels are included. The house has an office area with computer table and Internet hookup, a laundry room with washer and dryer, and Central Heat / AC. The Master Suite has a King bed with a private bathroom, and two other bedrooms each have queen beds. A fourth bedroom off the kitchen has a pull out queen size futon and a single bed. Luxury sheets are located in every bedroom. Just 4 miles away is Historic Downtown Beaufort, offering fine low country dining, upscale shopping, fine art galleries, and unique sightseeing. Approx. Ten miles south is one of South Carolina's most popular and yet unknown beaches, Hunting Island. Hunting Island offers beautiful natural beaches, tropical scenery, lagoons, fishing, walking trails, and wildlife. Parris Island is approximately 9 miles away. Downtown Charleston is approximately an hour drive north, and Hilton Head Island is about a 40 minute drive south. Both Fripp and Harbor Island are about a 15 mile drive. Golf is available at several locations in the area, with Hilton Head and Bluffton providing world class courses. Come enjoy South Carolina's Lowcounrty and all its beauty in a breathtaking, laid back atmosphere that you will find very hard to leave! Due to Community Regulations we must rent to Single Family's only - This is defined as no more that 3 unrelated individuals in the group. Others must be related by blood or marriage. Notes on Pool and Hot Tub: The spa is heated, but the pool is not. Rental rates include reasonable use of gas for heating the spa only.
