Welcome. We invite you to slip away to this secret place. Relax, listen to the water, the wind in the trees and feast your eyes on the beauty of the Okanagan. This magical cottage is nestled on the shores of Okanagan Lake in between Kelowna and Vernon. Furnished in a cheery beach house decor to suit its location you will find over 1100 sq. ft. complete with 2 bedrooms each with their own ensuite.
The cottage overlooks 2200 feet of waterfront with beaches, wharfs, rafts, water slides, boat moorage and a large green area for picnicing and relaxing. The water is wonderful for swimming or boating. A well kept gated community in a small quiet cove is a rare find. Easy access to either Kelowna (45 mins) or Vernon (25 mins.)
You are in the heart of the Okanagan with all its abundance of fruit orchards including the largest and juiciest Lapin cherries you have ever tasted. The area offers over 50 golf courses but Spallumcheen Golf Course, one of the finest, is only a 15 minute drive away. We must not forget to mention the wineries, boasting award winning wines in fabulous locations, usually with fine dining rooms overlooking the lake and mountains. Remember Wine Festival Season begins in late September and continues through October. Come and discover some of B.C.'s Award Winning Wines. Winter brings Ski Season and Silver Star and Big White are both within striking distance.
The home has a front deck and a front enclosed porch both overlooking the lake. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, a full ensuite. The guest bedroom has two twin beds and a full ensuite. The floor plan is open and there is over 1100 square feet. The living and diningroom have hardwood floors and there is a back patio for quiet times and an extra fridge in the shed for drinks.

My family and I had an amazing time at the beach house! The pictures were exactly the way the beach house was and the house was spotless. I have two children, preschool age and the location of the house could not have been more perfect. Right across the road from the lake/beach we could walk back over for snacks, lunches and bathroom breaks. The park is half a block away and between the beach and the park that is where we spent most of our time. We found that Enderby had a drive-in-theater that we went to a couple of times and went to the waterslides in Vernon. The area was quiet and all the neighbors that we met were super friendly! We had no problems getting in touch by email or phone with the owners, they made us feel truly welcome. We definitely will be back and hope to have more with us next time!
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We stayed at the beach house first week of July 2011 and we very pleased with everything. The location was close to all amenities, but far enough away to enjoy time out of the busy city. The house was just as the pictures show. Our children 7 & 11 especially enjoyed the floating dock right across the road from the house. We booked our trip only 4 weeks prior to our vacation and were very lucky to find this terrific place. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond to all of our questions. We will hopefully return again next year for another wonderful vacation. There were 3 adults and two children in our party and had room to spare.
Recommended for:Families with young children, families with teenagers.

We were pleasantly surprised at what a wonderful location we had found! It was a great place for us to bring our grandchildren (5, 3, 1) with their mom. We squished in (we were told it would be a tight fit for this gang). The place was so clean and well stocked with spices for cooking and all that anyone could want. The children loved the dining porch and made play zone out of the extra sofa! We had sun in the back yard and set up a play pool. I managed to get both the 5 and 3 yr. old girls with life jackets out to the floating dock. We met neighbours, went for walks and had a great week. The owners were very prompt in returning our deposit and when we left a jacket and a wok behind they arranged for a neighbour to ship it to us. A great week that our children still talk about!

Didn't send information when they said they would. Didn't return emails. Forced us to run around to make a bank deposit to their account at the last second. Now it's 6 weeks later and they have still not returned our damage deposit. 15 days ago they said it was already "in the mail". Yesterday they told me it went in the mail "around the middle of last week".
Owner response:When an occasional problem arises on our part we do our utmost to correct what has gone wrong - even to the extent of driving many miles to hand deliver a damage deposit cheque which had gone astray in an internal mail system. We don't make excuses - just amends. And we do everything we can to make sure it doesn't happen again.
