It reminded me of places I grew up in and visited in the Midwest - thoughtfully designed, clean, lots of flowers/fruit, great windows. Loved the mornings - birds chirping, hummingbirds buzzing and quaking leaves. Great place to space out over a cup of coffee and a book. The pool and hot tub are perfect for the hot afternoons and cool evenings. We took a fun hike along the nearby reservoir, and went for a run along the road, which was pretty, but much better suited for bikes (i.e. no path, walkway). Lots of great activities nearby - Guernville, Healdsburg and wineries (Copain is really close and has amazing views). I'd recommend this place for families and anyone looking for a peaceful getaway amidst lots of fun activities.

My family loved our stay at the Four sisters. The property is beautiful and has lovely views of the vinyards. The indoor/outdoor living room / deck is great for just relaxing by the pool with wine and cheese. The furnishings are all very nice - You really feel like your in someone's lovely home instead of a rental house. The location is great b/c you are close to both Guerneville and Healdsburg. We are definitely renting again.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Four Sisters Farmhouse a few weeks ago with a bunch of friends and it was so delightful that I had to write a comment. Not only is the house lovely with everything you could possibly want in a Sonoma getaway (hot tub, pool, lots of lounge chairs, porch, wireless, lovely dining areas, cozy places to snuggle, DirectTV, comfy beds) it is surrounded by amazingness within a few feet - exquisite restaurants, Copain winery, a delightful state park with a beautiful hiking options. It's simply perfect.

Can not say enough about this place! Causal and comfortable yet elegant and very well appointed. The layout is wonderful for 3 couples to stay comfortably in the main house, and a few steps down.. an enormous playroom area with a huge pull-out sectional - loft above with 4 smaller beds, perfect for the younger teens/kids or adult couple to have their own private area. Kitchen is fully stocked and labeled so there is no searching around for anything. AMAZING pool with unbelievable view of the vineyards, and a nice sized hot tub in back! Both indoor and outdoor dining space. And the PERFECT location.. smack in the middle of healdsburg, guerneville & forestville.. walking distance to the Farmhouse Inn & 2 Great Wineries (Copain & Gary Farrell). Everything is clean and lovely.. even have shampoo & conditioner dispensers in the shower in case you forgot yours at home! love, love LOVE this place.

If you could only see the setting!! Our jaws dropped as we kept checking the address I had written down... COULD THIS REALLY BE IT? we thought. The setting is right out of a storybook. And that is just the outside (which I recommend you spend copious amounts of time in, as well as walk down the street to the fabulous restaurant and drink copious amounts of wine until your hearts content). The inside is perfectly appointed - you won't wish for anything more. Except time, at the Four Sisters Farmhouse. (Lie by the pool or bike ride through the gorgeous hillsides? Wine taste or nap with the fresh air wafting through the windows? Ahh, the choices.) Make sure to book enough time for it all!

As we arrived at the home, it was more than I expected. Standing by the pool, I felt like I was back in Tuscany over looking the vineyards. It was relaxing, quiet and unbelievably peaceful and I was even visiting with a 2 kids under 4. The home was spacious, clean and immediately welcoming and relaxing. Loved the large kitchen which we cooked in and was able to easily get meals and snack for the kids ready. Loved all of the resting, sitting and hanging out locations, both inside the house as well as outside, around the pool, hot tub and patio. It was comfortable and safe for the kids and they immediately. The beds were super comfy and the rooms very welcoming and we all talked about getting the best sleep we had in a while. Location was close enough to drive into town for coffee, food and of course to take in some tasting and views at the fantastic wineries located within, literally, a few miles. Clean, well stocked with towels and all appropriate housing toiletries. Lots of information to help get used to the area as well. Loved the Flying Goat coffee shop located in downtown Healdsburg (delicious coffee and scones). Owner was responsive, kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend this to any friend or family member and look so forward to going back as soon as well all can. Safety was not a concern with the two children, as the pool has a safe cover over it as well as the hot tub. There was plenty of nature and outdoor area for the kids to explore and enjoy while we drank a little wine. if you go, you wont regret it- enjoy we did.

My girlfriend and I went here for a weekend getaway from San Francisco. It is located in an area close to all the great vineyards without having to deal with the tourism and traffic of Napa. We went for a beautiful bike ride from the house to the ocean, which is about 40 miles round-trip.You can spend your entire days biking from vineyard to vineyard. The house has everything you need and then some. The pool was warm and inviting which is where my girl spent most of the time. This place is perfect for a romantic getaway, a place to spend with your family, or perfect location to reunite with your college friends.

This house was great. It was clean and well maintained. There was plenty of room for our large group of 12. It wasn’t a far drive to the town and the various wineries. The kitchen was amazing it had every thing you would need and more. We cooked in every night but one!! Also, having access to the vegetable garden was a wonderful plus. We enjoyed this house very much and we all wanted a few more days to enjoy it. We are already planning our trip back for next year.

House was fabulous! Beautifully decorated, EXTREMELY well stocked and organized. It was perfect for our two family vacation with kids' space and adult space aplenty. Lots of great sitting areas outside made it especially comfortable (kids adored the pool and hot tub). We loved it and would absolutely recommend to friends. Were sad to leave but hope to go again.

Four Sisters Farmhouse is a wonderful place to stay while touring the Sonoma Wine Country! The home is extremely comfortable, beautifully decorated, and has everything you could ever need for the perfect vacation. We had 8 people in our party, 4 adults and 4 children. The kids loved having their own upstairs retreat and the other bedrooms are quiet and comfortable. The pool is lovely and we spent hours relaxing outside. The gardens and vinyard are beautiful! The location is very peaceful and serene, yet there are vinyards and wineries nearby. We enjoyed our stay there and hope to return soon!

Four Sisters Farmhouse was so much more than I had expected, the pictures don't do it justice. The house and grounds are exceptionally clean and comfortable and everything you could possibly need is there for you. There were 5 of us there and each one of us can't wait to return.

The Four Sisters was the perfect house for a family/friends reunion. We had a fantastic time at the house, the weather was perfect, the pool was just the right temperature and the jacuzzi was spectacular. The kitchen has everything you can possible need. We had great meals and did some serious relaxing. The house was impeccable, not often that you see something on a web site and the real thing is even better than the pictures. We are already talking about a return visit. We loved everything about The Four Sisters.

Four Sisters is an amazing house for a wine country retreat with friends. I planned the trip for a group of 5 girlfriends with people flying in from LA, San Diego, Portland and Chicago. It is luxury with rustic relaxation. We spent hours in the pool every morning and afternoon. The beds are so comfortable that we wrote down the brand name - and the decor is cheerful with a lot of personality. It is a home that is thoughtfully designed. The wineries within miles of the house are amazing. We would recommend Gary Ferrell, Davis Bynum and Arista highly - all within 15 minutes of the house. Healdsburg is incredibly charming as well. We had some slight gliches with functional aspects of the house (no TV, no dishwasher, spotty internet, water hookup) - little hassles, but the Hannons were available (even in the middle of the night) trying to solve the issues as quickly as possible. I hope to visit Four Sisters again soon.

I rent a vacation house from the internet every year for a group of three families with kids ranging from toddler to teen-ager. This is the first time the house was actually better than the web photos! Everything was as advertised if not better, with great little details that made the stay perfect (kitchen equipment, spices, great outdoor furniture, ect.) The location is superb. The views beautiful. The amenities top notch. Our only wish was that the house belonged to us.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Four Sisters home and enjoying a Sonoma life style and the Sonoma wineries over the past weekend. The house is fantastic with all it's amenities , High Speed Wireless connections, HD Satelite TV , very private Hot Tub at the rear of the house at the base of a very large rolling natural area hillside over 60 feet high , a brand new heated pool and very comfortable beds. The Home gives a very secluded country side feel in the foothills right off an area of active vinyards . The security gate and ligthed drive to the home give a secure but welcome and private feel to this enviroment. The home was very clean , plenty of the comforts of home with three great bathrooms, towels galore ,plenty of hot water and lots of pillows everywhere . My family and I will return to the Four Sisters to enjoy another relaxed and private Sonoma Country side stay. We also enjoyed the town of Windsor as our place to shop for food, great restaurants and very nice local people . Having visited and rented in Napa many times in the past, Sonoma and the Four Sisters home will be our choice for a real Califonia Wine country experience.

The Four Sisters Farmhouse was beyond perfect for our weekend there. The website looks great, but the house is even better. I was there for two nights with 10 girl friends for my bachelorette weekend. It slept 11 people perfectly. The kitchen is fully equipped. I brought a lot of extras not knowing what would be there and din't need anything that I brought. The pool is beautiful as is the hot tub. Large porch with lounge chairs to enjoy the weather. Perfect area, it's just 10 or so minutes from the town of Healdsburg. It is really a four bedroom house. The fourth room has 4 twin beds. I will definitely rent this house again in the future and will suggest it to all who are interested. Thank you!

Our family of five had a terrific visit to the Four Sisters Farmhouse. Perfectly located - Healdsburg to the east, the coast to the west, and smack dab in the middle of the wineries. The house was wonderful. The 3 BR listing isn't quite right - in addition, there is a huge loft space with beds to which my kids immediately retreated. Big screen TV with satelite was nice. Kitchen was better equipped than my own. Perfect place for headquarters when visiting that part of the country.

This house is beautiful in every way. It's been renovated perfectly - the rooms are spacious, airy and beautifully decorated, the common areas are great for big family gatherings and the kitchen has been updated with the most modern ammenities. The outside space is also wonderful - the views are fantastic and the porch beckons you to spend long leisurely afternoons there. It's a wonderful spot located conveniently to many vineyards and towns. A perfect getaway!
