  Our family stayed at your BEAUTIFUL beach home during the 3rd or 4th week of August 2007. We celebrated our parents 50th wedding anniversary! The kids enjoyed it more than Disney! We all want to go back. Can't wait to get back!!!

  I wanted to thank you for following up with us while we were at your house in OBX. That was very nice of you. The house was amazing! We loved staying there. The kids and everyone enjoyed everything about our trip and staying in your house was the icing on the cake. Thank you again.

  Thank you so much for providing such a beautiful and lovely home for our 2009 family vacation? Your house met all of our hopes and dreams, and then some...there was more than enough room for all of us. Thank you for making our trip wonderful - we hope to be able to be back again!

  Your beach house is just perfect! It was one of the most incredible weeks our family has ever experienced. We hadn't all been together in the three years & our 50th anniversary was a perfect time to bond & celebrate....Your place was big enough & plenty of places to be alone to read but big enough in the great room to be together at dinner...All in all, the week went beyond our expectations. It was a week we all hated to see come to an end. Thank you for making it possible by having such a great house, well equipped & any problems we taken care of promptly...a beautiful beach house that was especially convenient to the ocean.

  My family and I stayed at this house the first week in August 2008. The house description was accurate and it even included more amenities than stated. We had 2 small children (under 2 years old) and the house had 2 port-a-cribs that looked to be brand new, a pack-n-play, and it even had baby monitors! We have stayed at the OBX several times before, but never had a house that came with so many pool toys, nice bicycles, and beach chairs in good condition. The house was extremely clean and everything was in good working order. The kitchen was fully stocked with every pot/pan/dish/bowl/etc. that we could ever need and it even came with a few dish towels and pot holders. The beach was a very short and convenient walk, especially with the smaller children. We had several teenagers in our group as well as grandmas, all of whom enjoyed the house. The grocery store (and other stores) were within 1 1/2 miles away. There were also tennis courts within a short walking distance. We have never rented the same house twice, but we would definitely rent this house again because of the location, value, cleanliness, and the many extras! The owners even called us to see how our stay was, which we had not experienced before. We would highly recommend this house for families of all ages.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

  The Long Distance Voyager was a wonderful place to stay for families of all ages! We had small children (under the age of 2), teenagers, and grandmas who all enjoyed their stay at the house. It was a very short and convenient walk to the beach. We would highly recommend this house because of the value, location, cleanliness, and extra amenities.Never experienced any problems and any emails that I sent were quickly answered!

  WHAT A WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL TIME !!! The weather was perfect and your home was FAULTLESS (if that is possible)! In fact, we are trying to plan a trip to the same house next year or if you had a house of the same quality that would accommodate 24. You were wonderful to deal with and totally on top of all aspects of the vacation. Thanks again!

  “The house was more than we expected! It was so close to the beach-literally a minute walk and that's going at a leisurely pace! There were 19 of us for our parents 50th anniversary. We range in age from 70 to almost 3 years! We had plenty of room. The pool with waterfall was just a wonderful place and we really had fun in it too. All the different decks are so nicely furnished and several of us made a point of napping or lounging on a different one every day or evening! the elevator was a real help for the older ones and those of us who overdid it at the beach! The location was very convenient for shopping-groceries, gifts shops and restaurants. None of our family wanted to go home.” Diane Werley
