<b>Fattoria di Pietrabuona</b> farmhouses are six <b>self catering properties estate</b> to choose from situated in a <b>green and peacefull valley</b> between <b>Lucca and Florence</b>. The Pietrabuona estate is an unique and fascinating position on the evergreen Zano Hill and a private country road connects all the farmhouses of the estate, still known by their old names. All apartments recently renovated offer confortable accommodation, fulfilled with all facilities. Shared <b>swimming pool</b>, and <b>DISC GOLF 9 holes COURSE</b>, different difficult levels of <b>walking mountain path</b>. All our farmhouses are genuinely ancient. The original features are particularly evident in the <b>Podere Zano</b> farmhouse. A large fireplace dominates the living room where the floor is made of antique slabs of pietra serena, which are naturally cool in summer. Engraved on the kitchen doorpost is the year 1464, which indicates the year of an old remodeling. There have been no major changes since then, except for a small outbuilding which was once a cellar and now is an outdoor toilet for use by the guests at the pool. What was formerly an old chicken yard is now a storage space for wood. Above it there is a perfectly working wood oven.This farmhouse, which sleeps 6, has been last restored in 1993. Parking is near the house. <b>Distances:</b> The medievial town of Pescia is at 5 minutes by car and there you'll find restaurants, train staion, grocery and supermarkets. <b>At guests' disposal:</b> A common room availalbe where the owner can organize dinners. BBQ available Internet WI-FI connection available in the area of the reception office free of charge. There is a living room, a kitchen, a double bedroom, a small bedroom with a full size bed (130 cm), a bathroom (equipped with tub and shower) and a toilette. There is also an upper gallery loft area that features two beds. Amenities: Living room with satellite TV and fireplace; kitchen with fridge, freezer, electric kettle and moka coffee pot. The two beds in the upper gallery loft can be joined or separated. The grounds have a shaded pergola for dining al fresco, and a barbecue.
