This newly renovated two-bedroom, one and one-half bath villa, is located in a small, private, very quiet residential community, preserving the natural beauty of shade trees and vegetation.
Barbeque on our private gated patio, swim in the tree-lined shared pool or enjoy a short five minute walk to Pet-Friendly, Folly Field Beach (Atlantic Ocean) and enjoy our sunsets. There is 12 miles of hard packed sand on our broad beaches to wiggle your toes in, reportedly over 40 miles of bike paths in total, world-class golf courses, over 200 restaurants, a shopping mall, two outlet malls, historical landmarks, pristine waterways, every imaginable water sport, nature tours and Shelter Cove Adventure Cove for the kids is a short walk along Folly Field Road.
This villa was upgraded in 2006; the villa is non-smoking, attractively decorated and kept super clean. Once you are here, you will see that Hilton Head Island has a lot to offer.

Year Purchased: 2006
Donna and Jose Lugo have been married for 19 years. Both retired from United States Marine Corps with 47 years between them. Jose now works as a Clinical Supervisor at the Clinical Counceling Services on Marine Corps Recruit Depot at Parris Island. We are empty nesters with two sons and two daughters; youngest child a college senior. Donna works in the home and cares for two yorkshire terriers. We love spending time at the villa on Hilton Head and were very proud of the place that we've worked hard upgrading over the past few years; however, our lives are still very busy and were also active in our church so we don't frequent Hilton Head Island on the weekends as much as we would like.
Why the Owner Chose Stones Throw Villas
We chose to purchase our vacation rental in the Folly Field area of Hilton Head Island for several reasons, but first and foremost, we wanted a get-away that would be with in walking distance to Folly Field Beach (Atlantic Ocean.) We love spending time near the water. Secondly, we fell in love with the community of Stones Throw for it's natural beauty, shade trees and bike trails and quiet surroundings; the area is very serene and relaxing. It wasn't until later, we were pleasantly surprised how genuinely friendly the neighbors were. Lastly, we liked the idea of being in close proximity to Restaurants, Golf Courses, Shopping,Movie Theaters, and numerous other activities that Hilton Head has to offer. Regardless of our desired activity, we don't have far to drive.
The Unique Benefits of this Villa
The greatest benefit we enjoy at our Stones Throw villa is our community is pet-friendly. When shopping the real estate market several years ago, we learned fast there were very few communities in Hilton Head Island that permit pets. We especially wanted a place we could enjoy our vacation and bring our pets with us. As an added plus, Folly Field Beach permits pets on the beach during certain hours of the seasons. It's a treat for our pets to go to the beach and enjoy the ocean. We know how important pets are in the lives of their owners and we've enjoyed our pets at the beach so much that I really can't imagine vacation time spent on Hilton Head Island any other way.
