Alice's Looking Glass is located in a quiet area of downtown Bar Harbor; an easy stroll to shops, restaurants, and the harbor/town pier. Hiking, swimming, boating, biking, skiing are all within walking distance. Kebo golf course is 5 minutes away; a 7 minute walk from your door, puts you into Acadia National Park. There is a children's outdoor wading pool on the street behind the house; the ball park is a block up the street, the YMCA with indoor swimming pool and gym is a half a block away. You can also take the free Island Explorer anywhere you want to go in the Park and on Mount Dessert Island, enabling you to leave your car parked in the driveway for the duration of your stay. Alice's Looking Glass is attractively furnished and fully equipped. The house also includes a washer/dryer, CATV/DVD, gas b-b-q and a gas fireplace in the living room to take the chill off those cool summer evenings. A deck and enclosed yard make this a great vacation spot for the whole family
Enjoy an ice cream while watching boats in the harbor, or listen to the band concerts at the Village Green, or simply relax on the deck of your summer home for a quiet respite from the crowds. This is a year round home that can be enjoyed in any and all seasons.

Our stay at house in Bar Harbor was great. The house was very cozy, the heat had been turned up prior to our arrival and it was very welcoming. The house is set back from the road so we were not bothered by noise. With the exception of food, we found the house to be stocked with everything we needed. The house was nice and neat when we got there.
