This home has a conventional look on the outside but has a cabin feel on the inside. The kitchen has double ovens, a cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator. The living room has a wood stove, pine walls, and oak floors for that mountain cabin feel. Off of the living room is a covered porch that is the length of the home and has an outdoor barbecue grill. There is one larger bedroom with a queen-size bed, large closet, and dresser; and one smaller bedroom with a full-size bed and smaller closet. The main bath is all new and has custom tile flooring, tile wall wainscot, and custom tile shower, and there is also a powder room.
There are beautiful lake views from the kitchen/dining, living room, and larger bedroom, and included is a large private "L" shaped boat dock for a couple of boats as well as jet skis, and a beach area (water shoes recommended). The home is completely furnished with everything you will need including linens, and the kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, bakeware, and silverware.
The home is less than five minutes walking distance to Carlin Bay Resort which has live music and dancing on the weekends, a restaurant, and public boating facilities. Black Rock Community/Rockford Bay is across the lake within five minutes by boat. The Coeur d' Alene Resort/downtown is within 10 to 15 minutes by boat.
This property has great year-round access and has a large driveway with space for five vehicles and a boat trailer. Also a great winter time getaway. Peaceful and private - and Carlin Bay Resort is open all winter long on the weekends. Can be a hunter's retreat for a place to stay and be able to hunt in the immediate area.

Why the Owner Chose Carlin Bay
My sister & I bought this property because we both grew up in Coeur d' Alene and were raised by our grandparents. This area is very special to us and we try to get there as much as possible.
The Unique Benefits of this House
We love our property and being on the lake. When we come in the summer we love boating all over the lake and checking out all of the places to see & visit on the lake. We also love jet skiing in our bay. Carlin Bay is a larger bay and the water is not as rough as the main part of the lake. Also Carlin Bay has a restaurant/bar/public boat facilities within walking distance to pick up a local newspaper, eat, or have a night out. In the fall and winter we love to come to our property to have peace and relaxation away from our hectic lives. The lake is beautiful all year round.

Or family had a wonderful experience. What a beautiful area. The water was so clear and the kids swam and snorkeled all day. We boated into Coeur d alene shopped and did the bike trails and hiked. The drive into town took much longer so we boated mostly. We ate at the Cedars floating resturant and it was spendy but great food. The steps up to the house we long but we did not mind, may be difficult for older people. The owners anwsered all my questions and were very easy to work with. Would recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing trip.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children.
