The Kings Point House is a unique lakeshore property with large U-shaped dock and sloping lawn. The house has been newly redecorated in a casual yet luxurious and contemporary Montana style. The view of Flathead Lake and the Mission Mountains will take your breath away and can be seen from huge windows in almost every room. We call it "Lake TV" because the view and the parade of wildlife is ever changing with graceful osprey, swooping bald eagles, ducks and geese, and of course the neighborhood deer. The greatroom has a large stone fireplace and a log dining table that seats twelve, opening on to a deck with seating and lounging under a Ponderosa pine tree. The downstairs living room is cabin-retro with a wood-burning fireplace contrasting with a 42-inch flatscreen TV.
In the summer time, Flathead Lake is a boaters' paradise - it is the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi so even on peak weekends it seems uncrowded. There are many islands to explore, Native American rock paintings to be discovered, glassy coves for waterskiing, and private fishing spots to claim. The lakeside communities have public access where you can pull in to the dock and walk to world class dining. Glacier Park is an hour away if you can tear yourselves away from the lake. Once you find the Flathead, you will want to return again and again. |
