Webster's definition of tranquil: free from agitation of mind or spirit... free from disturbance or turmoil. Come, experience the definition...
Relax, Relax, Relax! If it's relaxation you seek... Tranquility at River's Bend has everything you need to de-stress, get tranquil, and just unwind! And the ONE-OF-A-KIND VIEWS of ~200 feet of frontage right on the river's bend are simply UNBELIEVABLE! Many more pictures available upon request & awesome 'photoshow' tour link below (or will send link upon request).
Spend some time in the outdoor hot tub as pulsating jets massage away your cares. Feel the warmth of the indoor sauna as it soothes and relaxes. Take time out to gaze at the thick trees woven and river bending around you as you sit back in a deliciously comfy rocking chair. Kick back and feel the stresses of life melt away as you lay in your cozy, extra soft, river-side hammock. Bask in total privacy while the only sound you hear is rushing water and breezes in the trees. Let your eyes glaze over as you snuggle in a blanket by the firepit watching the dancing flames. Ahhhhh, the life!
Get up and GO! If you prefer a little more activity... KAYAK, TUBE, and FISH right from the property (tubes and fishing poles provided in the cabin). HIKE trails within the Coosawattee River Resort (CRR) or one of the many other nearby trails, including the southern start of the Appalachian Trail (Georgia has nearly 80 miles of the AT running from Springer Mountain to Bly Gap, where the trail enters North Carolina). BOAT on several nearby lakes including Carters Lake and Blue Ridge Lake. SIGHTSEE just about everywhere (as one naturalist said of North Georgia, 'Scenic touring is about any road you want to travel'), including nearby Amicalola and Ruby Falls, Vogel State Park, mountain vistas (one thousand to five thousand feet) and more. Venture around the Coosawattee River Resort and enjoy miniature golf, horseback riding, pond fishing, ball sports, indoor/outdoor pools, and more or just PLAY in the cabin's game room. If visiting in the fall, be sure to taste Ellijay's delicious apples & attend the festival (Ellijay is known as the apple capital of Georgia).
Coosawatee River Resort is not your typical resort. Nestled in the woods of the north Georgia Mountains on over 8,500 acres, it's easy to forget you're even at a resort. The vast amenities are conveniently spread out, avoiding the appearance of a typical resort. Service is key as the cabin's owners have staff available to assist you with everything from providing local information, to arranging for a massage or private chef, to setting up a wine tour, to arranging daily maid service, and everything in between to help make this your vacation of a lifetime. Kayaking, canoeing, tubing, and fishing accessible right from the property's river frontage. Nice, secluded location.
Fantastic views of the rushing river from all four decks! The cabin has a luxurious yet rustic feel with amenities galore, including your own three to four person sauna, seven-person hot tub, pool table, dart board, games, puzzles, private master balcony, second master bedroom, five-star hotel mattresses, high quality linens, and more! Sleeps 8… has both king and queen 5-star hotel mattresses, 2 queen futons with Coil Comfort mattresses, and 3 twin futons (two of them can also convert to a queen)… |
