  We really enjoyed our stay, I highly recommend this place. With 2 small girls, this place was very convenient with a block or so walk to the beach access, with weekend lifeguard duty. It was just enough distance from the main strip so it wasn't as crowded as on down or up beach. We walked to restaurants and the carnival and didn't really have to drive anywhere. Wonderful fresh veggie market across the street, along with Scotchmen and other places to eat. I loved the distance to the green way, allowing a quick jot to a half or so mile track around a large pond, of which also has movies and other activities through out the summer. The house was clean, cute and just the right size for a family of 4. Nice porches, was able to get a good view of the ocean from the swing, and it looked right out to were the historical ship wreck can be seen at low tide-Really Cool!

  What a wonderful place to stay in Carolina Beach. The view from the porch was amazing and the home was so cozy and relaxing. I really liked the flow of the bedrooms and the bath. I would for sure recommend this place and will come back soon. Thanks so much!

  We just spent over a week at Tan, Ready, and Rested for our anniversary. We stay in this area every year and we were happy to try this cottage. We really enjoyed this property. One of the best porches on the street. We could see the fireworks from there. The bed was comfortable, and the place was clean. We had a small kitchen sink issue I called James he had it fixed while we stayed on the beach. He was very thoughtful about it. Nice to rent from people that care. Cant go wrong with this location. Thanks again James. Pam & Andre

  This little get away was awesome. Why? This rental met our every needs in one package. Close to the beach, resturants, stores, amusement park and a view of the ocean from the front deck. We never had to move our SUV except for our trip to the Aquarium, which was just down the road. Dont miss out, very comfortable inside and slept like a baby.

  Tan, ready and Rested is located at the second row of a One Way Street which gives you some view from the super cute porch to the beach! We stayed most of the time at that porch, watching people or just enjoying a lite breeze with an ice tea because it was the best place to be. The great thing about this house is that you can do everything by foot. All nice restaurants are near by - and Carolina Beach has a lot of them, a fair for the kids at the beach with some attractions. We had a great time with our kids and enjoyed our stay there a lot! Thanks a lot!

  We loved your place! It was so nice to have an ocean view. We all (2 adults 2 kids) felt very comfortable - like a home away from home :) Perfect location too so convenient to the beach, lake area where they showed the free movies and the boardwalk which was lots of fun!! Thanks again for taking such great care of your place!!

  What a fabulous place to stay! It was our first time to Carolina Beach and our toddler's first trip to the beach, and everything was perfect. We enjoyed going to the beach and seeing all the sights in the area. Our son especially loved the aquarium at Fort Fisher! We also enjoyed relaxing and watching the ocean and passersby on the porch swing after our son's bedtime. The owners are great and easy to work with as well, making sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely return!

  This is an adorable cottage. Full of charm and comfort. We specially enjoyed the front porch swing where we spent relaxed nights talking, enjoying the cool breeze, wonderful view and fireworks from the beach. The owners are great to work with, very friendly and thoughtful. This was a great place to get away from it all. We highly recommed it!

  Tan,Ready, and Rested was a comfortable and well-equipped beach cottage. This has been one of our favorite rental homes we've stayed at. We especially enjoyed the view of the passers by and ocean from the porch swing. It was great to be able to walk just about anywhere we wanted to get to in just minutes. Thank you for the welcome letter and basket of necessities. This made us feel welcome and special. We hope to return!

  This was my first trip to Carolina Beach. It reminds me of the Outer Banks before it became the hot spot to vacation. The cottage was perfect. I loved sitting on the front porch and being able to see the ocean. We watched the beautiful fireworks from the back porch. Walking around the lake looking for the flying fish was a nightly ritual.
