The spacious floorplan has 1,349 square feet, including a 408 square foot wrap-around lanai. This corner unit is better than oceanview--it's direct oceanFRONT!!!!! The Resort Services Check-In Fee will be paid by the owner.

Enjoy Maui's incredible beauty from the inside, or step outside onto your large, private lanai with its two areas of comfortable Tropitone furniture. Watch the whales right from your lanai, in season, while relaxing in the perfect outdoor climate with cool island breezes. It's the ideal setting for sipping MaiTais, sharing a meal, and listening to live Hawaiian music from below. Gaze directly from the lanai each evening and marvel at God's creation as the sun sets vibrantly over the ocean framed by the islands of Lanai and Molokai. Although you may never want to leave, you are only steps away from beach activities, shopping, and restaurants--or plan fun sightseeing excursions around the island! Fall asleep each night with the gentle sounds of the ocean.
This deluxe condo features a light and airy tropical décor and many upgrades. The kitchen has been completely remodeled with granite countertops, new appliances, wood cabinets, recessed lighting, tile floor, and all the amenities. A kitchen window overlooks the ocean. The living room and bedroom have been newly carpeted and have mirrored walls and floor-to-ceiling windows to maximize your enjoyment of Maui's exceptional beauty. The king-size bed provides a restful night's sleep. Both full-size marble bathrooms have also been refurbished with new cabinetry, glass shower doors, and tropical décor. If you just can not leave business behind, our unit has an office area, which is laptop-ready with free high-speed internet connection (Wireless and LAN), fax, copier, printer, and even an internet connected computer. A complimentary in-room safe is also included.
We have limited the occupancy of our 1 bedroom, 2 bath home to two people. The unit is entirely NON-SMOKING, both inside and out. The Whaler does not allow pets. Check-in time is 4 PM (or earlier if ready) and check-out time is 11 AM.
HOUSEKEEPING:
All linens are provided. Check-out cleaning is included free of charge. Additional cleaning during your stay can be arranged for a nominal fee.
DEPOSIT INFORMATION:
A deposit of 3 nights rental (7 nights at Christmas/New Year) is needed to secure your reservation. The balance, plus a $400 damage deposit, is due 60 days prior to arrival. The damage deposit is fully refundable upon satisfactory inspection of the unit's condition following your stay. Hawaii's non-smoking law is firmly enforced by the condo association and violation will result in forfeiture of deposit. Personal check, credit card, bank transfer, money order, certified check or cashier's check accepted.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellations received 60 days or more prior to arrival will be completely refunded, less $50 plus credit card processing fees. Cancellations received less than 60 days prior to arrival will be subject to a 3 night minimum charge. Should a reservation be cancelled less than 30 days prior to arrival, or for rentals inbetween December 17 and January 1, refunds will be made for those days that are re-rented, less $50 plus credit card processing fees.

We just returned from a ten night stay in this condo which is located on the oceanfront corner of the 11th floor. The panoramic ocean views extend across two sides of the condo and are reflected in the mirrored back walls of the living room and separate bedroom. We love the Whaler's location at the center of the Kaanapali Beach Walk with a perfect swimming beach in front, shops and restaurants next door at Whaler's Village, and lots of activities all along the Beach Walk. My husband enjoyed the fabulous views from the condo and wrap-around lanai so much he spent a great deal of his vacation right there! The owners were very prompt and courteous in answering our booking request and subsequent questions. The condo and the linens were sparkling clean when we arrived. The listing photos accurately represent the condo. The owners have thoughtfully and carefully prepared the condo with everything you need for a delightful stay.

This place is beautiful!! We will definitely be back to this room. It has everything you need for a condo. No need to go out for sunset dinner when you have this view. Mike and Elaine are so very easy to deal with. I highly recommend this condo!

To say that I was amazed with your condo in the Whaler would be an understatement! I have stayed at the Whaler before, but choosing the right suite in the right location is essential for a memorable holiday in Kaanapali. I was truely impressed. I can honestly say that sitting right above the beach with East, South and West views on your wrap around ocean front balcony was breathtaking. While I like to make the most of my day outdoors, I must say that waking up in the morning and having a fresh glass of pineapple juice on the deck as the sun is rising and returning in the late afternoon to have dinner on the deck and watch the sun set or to arise at night when there is a full moon and see the entire ocean lit up and glimmering, exemplifies the Hawaiian spirit of Aloha! Spotlessly clean and meticulously maintained, it was wonderful to have been been a guest in your Hawaiian home. Mahalo.

We recently spent 8 days in this condo and can highly recommend it. The owners are great to deal with and this has to be the best stocked condo I've been in. Everything is certainly as described and there are no surprises. The bed was very comfortable; not one of those rock hard mattresses with dips to hold you in one spot like we've experienced in other Whaler condos. Of course, oceanfront at the Whaler really can't be beat and this condo was perfect!

We have stayed in this unit 3x and are booked for the 4th time in 2011. We have also stayed in other units in the Whaler. #1151 fits the concept of Hawaii with great ocean view and mountain view. I actually enjoy watching the activity and music in the shopping center next door and have not found it to be a problem. The unit itself is very well maintained and the owners have always been helpful, if necessary. Would recommend unreservedly. I am not arriving in 'August but cannot get the calendar icon to display beyond today
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+.
