Perfect for a family getaway or a multi-family vacation, nestled in Hollywood Beach, California, a spot named for the Hollywood stars who have used this secluded little community to find refuge. The beach is huge clean and uncrowded, with great surfing and body surfing.
Steps from the sand and Channel Islands Harbor, this 3,000 sf house has it all. Gorgeous ocean and sand views from living, dining and kitchen areas. Spacious master suite with jacuzzi tub and ocean views. Decks galore, two with full ocean views and a large roof deck overlooking Channel Islands Harbor. There is a large family room located downstairs which is perfect for the kids or teens to congregate away from the main living spaces. A sophisticated design, modern furnishings and artwork, and great open floor plan, and a large island kitchen with all amenities for cooking, including indoor grill.
Bedrooms include master suite with king size bed and lots of extra space. The second bedroom has one queen size bed and a daybed that converts into two separate twin beds. The third bedroom with two queen size beds. The fourth bedroom contains two bunk beds with twin size beds on top and full size on the bottom. We use this as a playroom as well, as there is plenty of extra floor space. We have a pack & play crib for infants.
We have tried to think of everything for your convenience. The kitchen is well equipt for cooking and dining. Dining room seats eight very comfortably and 10-12 easily at beautiful glass table with fabulous ocean views. In addition there is a countertop bar with extra seating. The family room also has a kitchenette with dining/game table.
For recreation, we have two kayaks guests may use to tour the harbor which is an easy 2 blocks away. We also have Boogie Boards, beach chairs and umbrellas. We have bicycles and lots of games, toys and puzzles for the younger kids. There is also a Xavix Game console (similar to WII but more athletic)attached to the TV in the family room. We also have a surround sound/stereo system in the livingroom for movie night or music.
Hollywood Beach is located 75 minute north of LAX and 30 minutes south of Santa Barbara. Our house is located across the street from the very secluded Hollywood Beach and two short blocks from Channel Islands Harbor which is home to ecclectic waterfront eating, unique shopping and a great Sunday Farmer's Market. Rent a Segway or catch an excursion boat to Channel Islands National Park, to view many unique species of plants and wildlife and fantastic scuba diving and snorkeling or grab a spot on a sport fishing boat. This place is California's Best Kept Secret!

Hollywood Beach is a secluded community tucked away at the end of Channel Islands Harbor. There is no traffic, the beach is known only to locals and those adventurous few from outside who happen to stumble upon it while exploring the area (and, of course all, you reading this). It is the perfect weekend getaway spot or summer beach hangout.

From Hollywood Beach you are close to the Harbor, the Channel Islands, Ventura and Santa Barbara. There are all types of water sports; Kayaking, Sport Fishing, Scuba diving, Surfing, the list is endless. There are unique restaurants in the Harbor and surrounding areas. But MOST of all...The BEACH....it is large, clean, and completely uncrowded.
