I couldn't believe the view when we first walked in--I didn't expect the beach to be so close! The location is terrific for folks like us who prefer to be a bit off of the beaten path. The place is as depicted in the photos--maybe a bit worn around the edges (the windows were pretty dirty, the balcony furniture a bit rusty, a towel bar half torn off the wall in one of the baths).No coffee maker, so we bought one and left it. Kitchen supplies are a bit thin, but we managed. The owner responded to our complaints of a slow shower drain and broken toilet seat. The property itself was very well maintained, and the front desk staff very friendly and helpful. I'd recommend this to a family like ours who isn't particularly fussy--it was fine and the price was right. There's a good Mexican restaurant nearby (can't remember the name, but the desk staff knows). We also enjoyed the nearby state park for a bit of quiet walking.
Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

The condo was in a great location but was a dump! The real estate company renting the property was not easy to work with and did not care to fix things that were broken and unuseable. Would not recommend. Perdido Sun is a great place to stay just not in this condo!
Owner response:All of our condos are professionally cleaned before each new rental by the same cleaning company that cleans many of the condos in the Perdido Key area. In this situation, we had back-to-back rentals with guests checking out in the morning and this reviewer guest arriving on the same afternoon. This reviewer guest arrived well before the agreed check-in time and was told that the condo unit was not yet cleaned and ready, but she wanted to check in early anyway. So we accomodated her wishes, but of course, the condo was not clean when she initially went into the condo with her luggage (and no good deed goes unpunished). Our condos are locally managed by a professional rental management company that addressed all of her needs during this stay. Then at the end of this guest's rental, she actually tried to extend her agreed stay, but the condo was already reserved for other guests, so we could not accomodate her request, which did not make her happy. So I believe that this disgruntled guest has attempted to get some revenge by writing this inaccurate and unfair review. If you have any other questions concerning this review, I (or my rental management company) would be happy to discuss them with you.
