This was a sisters week, to reconnect with each other and nature. We did that and more. We felt at home the moment we walked through the door. " Breath- you're at home" is the saying above the curtain in the living room and it says it all. We has spa treatments by Ravit and Katie and it was absolutely spectacular!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

I can't think of a more perfect way to start off a "Sister's Retreat" than to be greeted by three elk just grazing in our backyard upon arrival. The owners thought of everything to make our stay special. From bath salts, fluffy towels to books about special hikes around the area. The owners/host were so accommodating to our needs, easy to work with and the place was immaculate upon arrival. Each room had comfy beds, soft comforters, and plenty of space to make ourselves at home. And last, the massages. Oh my goodness, what can I say, they were incredible. Each one of our kids gave us spa gift certificates to use during our stay, so on Mothers Day, we each treated ourselves to pure heaven. I will most definately be coming back, and I most definately recommend this home for any family, couple, or girl's retreat. You will not be disappointed!Owner response: Thank you so much for your kind words, we loved hosting all of you. Meeting amazing people from all over is just one of the joys of running our own resort. We are so glad you had a wonderful time in Estes , we love it here and try to make each groups trip as special as possible

what a perfect family vacation home! We have enjoyed our stay in Estes Park. One morning we woke up to 20+ elk out in the back yard. Between 11:30 -2:30 AM we have seen a bear with her cub out in the front yard. While here in Estes Park we have enjoyed site seeing white water rafting shopping and playing at Rida Kart center, also we could not forget the relaxing massages, Great place we look forward to returning in the futureDid you find this review helpful? My family immensely enjoyed our stay at this property, which is well-maintained and clean. It is ideally located for walking to the storefronts of downtown Estes Park. Plenty of restaurants are within a 10-minute walk. Each evening we sat by the Big Thompson River and soaked in views of Longs Peak. The setting is on a cul-de-sac and there are businesses around it. Problem? Absolutely not. There was little noise - an occasional bark from the vet's office a couple of doors down, some traffic noise from across the river - but best of all, no nosy/noisy neighbors. The house is very well built and soundproofed. One caveat: you must climb stairs. It was extremely comfortable and homey. The washer/dryer are conveniently located, the kitchen well-equipped, large full bath. In short, we'll return to watch the elk graze in the yard, deer wading the BT River, and the hovering hummingbirds. The owner was very accomodating and helpful. It was convenient having her on the property daily - downstairs at the Spa - to ask questions or make requests. A nice property.Recommended for: Girls getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Thanks for your kind words Greg, it was a pleasure having you and your family- save Long's Peak for next time.. Ravit and Monte Michener

We spent a long Thanksgiving weekend here with our two adult sons who both live in the Denver area. It was a vacation for them as well as for us, as we relaxed in such elegant comfort. The house was welcoming, very clean, and well equipped - so well equipped that we prepared most of our meals in the wonderful kitchen overlooking the river - not good for the local resturant business but wonderful for family conversations and togetherness. We enjoyed our time enormously. The elk in the yard and crossing the river behind the house were a delightful morning treat. The location within walking distance of downtown yet only minutes away from Rocky Mountain National Park was perfect. We had a relaxing, refreshing visit with our sons in the comfort of this lovely home.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

What a well-appointed and nicely maintained space, indoors and out; loved the rushing river at the edge of the yard! We breathed more deeply than usual, felt uncommonly serene, and completely at home. We appreciate your hospitality and hope to return soon, perhaps with other family members as well. Excellent!
