Summerwind Resort is tucked away on one of the most beautiful beaches on earth! This fabulous one bedroom condo is professionally decorated providing a relaxed atmosphere. While Summerwind was completed in 2001, it was completely renovated in June 2006 following Hurricane Ivan.
This second floor unit has a balcony overlooking the pool, beautiful white-sand beach and the clear blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Avoid the traffic and crowds of Destin for a truly soothing beach vacation.
Enjoy the small local restaurants for great seafood, or do some surf-fishing and catch your own! Publix, Wynn Dixie, CVS, Walgreens, banks, and much more are just minutes away. A great, relaxing place!

The condo is exactly as it is presented on vrbo. My husband and I stayed with parents and we had plent enough room for four adults. The view was amazing, and the sound of the waves were great. Summerwind is very family friendly and so quiet at night. My only complaint would be the lack of kitchen towels (I purchased some and left them for future renters) and the leaky coffee pot. It is a great place and I would definately return.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+.

My family just got back from your unit & we loved it! I loved how it was furnished & the beach was clean & beautiful. We loved being on the 2nd floor because we didn't have to use the elevator. The Summerwind complex was great. We will be back next year for sure!!Recommended for: People with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
