everything was very nice and accommodating. the only compliant we had were that there were a couple of cleaning issues.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.

I would like to Thank Todd the property owner for wonderful accomodations in the Blue Heron. My family & I stayed in the Sunrise Suite that accomodates 8 people. The unit was very clean, very well maintained and extremely comfortable. The Blue Heron is located in the perfect area.. literally just steps away from food and shops and 1 mile from Magic Kingdom. Reserved this condo via internet. Great experience w/owner who took time to explain details. Unit clean, well maintained, well supplied, convenient location, although would recommend having a car. It was wonderful having a washer & dryer in unit since we were there for a month. Second full bath was a luxury. Bunk beds would be best for young children. Was not an issue with us since we were two adults. On site managment helpful with info and resolving problems. Would definetly stay again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We typically stay at Disney property hotels but the Blue Heron turned out to be a much better value. The location is excellent and the condo has everything you will need. I especially liked the fact that the pool was never crowded. After spending days with thousands in the Disney parks it was nice to come back to the pool where there was never more than 20 people around at any one time. WOW !!! The condo was perfect!! Everything was in brand new condition! Condo was spotless! Everything you could think of was right there. The location was great! We could see fireworks and Planet Hollywood right from the Main Entrance into the Building. WE watched the sun rise over the lake every morning! Beautiful setting. Very quiet -- Pool water was warm. Staff was great!! Even saved us 10% on all our Disney attractions. NO TIMESHARE SALES PITCH!!!!! Just check in and enjoy your stay!!!! THis was our 6th trip to the orlando area! This was by far the best place we have stayed at!! Bets a hotel stay any day!!! I would recommend this to anyone visiting DISNEY!!!!! They even went as far as to provide information on the closest wal-mart!!! Dine in and save a bunch, or take advantage of the restaurants across the street! Everything is in about 1 mile radius!! The condo unit and overall property was very well maintained. Very nice location and parks are visible from condo. Unit was exactly as described by the owner...just like staying at home. We found this property 3 years too late! We've been visiting our son in Orlando for the past 3 years, staying in hotels and other condos. But now there'll be no more looking for us-we've found our "home away from home." The unit is beautiful and comfortable, with all the "extras" of home. The view from the patio overlooking the pool and lake is beautiful and very peaceful. In our last minutes before checkout, my husband walked out to the gazebo to fish. He was disappointed to discover the fish had been there all weekend, and he only had time to catch a few. We were in town for wedding activities, and didn't have the time to use the pool and hot tub, but will certainly check them out on our next trip. Check in/out was very easy, and the staff very helpful and courteous. We felt very safe, as keys are needed to use the elevator, and then again to get into your room. Todd's personal list of restaurants, cheap gas, convenience stores, convenient shopping, etc. was very useful. I would add "Columbia" restaurant in Celebration as our favorite, one we go to on each visit. The condo was a great value for the money, and we will return!Did you find this review helpful? Was a very nice place. Very spacious! Really had everything you need Great place for families who want to be close to parks. Would highly recommond to families with small children. I would never stay inside Disney again. Very nice pool. Loved it!Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

"I just wanted to let you know that my family and I had a wonderful time staying in your condo this past week. It was everything we expected and more. We were just amazed at the beauty within the condo itself, and also outside on the balcony, both overlooking the lake and then overlooking the city and the theme park of Hollywood Studios. Absolutely gorgeous. Everything was convenient and within minutes of everything, especially when you have a 6-year girl going to Disney for the first time. My girlfriend and I had the opportunity to do a one night stayover. What a terrific experience. I stayed across the street at Vistana Villages last year and found the accommodations at Blue Heron much more upgraded. The staff was very pleasant. The next stay will be for more than one night. I arranged our stay through one of the owners on-line. He made the process very easy. If I were in need again, I would not hesitate in contacting him.Did you find this review helpful? Overall my stay was good except for a couple of items: the whirlpool was not working and was supposed to be fixed while we were there and was not. The freezer had a loud whirring sound, probably the fan. We called about it but not one ever came to fix it or comment on it. The bed spread had some spots on it which should have been cleaned better and there was a light bulb out in the bedroom. The unit itself was fine.Recommended for: People with disabilities, sightseeing.

It is in a excellent location, minutes to Disney, 2 outlet malls and numerous restaurants.The one bedroom condo is very spacious and super clean. The kingsize bed was the most comfortable bed we have every slept in away from home. The photos do not do this property justice. It is fabulous. Fall is a great time for Florida residents to visit Orlando for the theme parks but I could see just hanging out here. What a find! Its so conveniently located yet sitting on the balcony, poolside or strolling the boardwalk on Lake Bryan, one feels calm and at ease. The condo is beautiful and very nicely appointed. With free high speed wired internet, free local phone calls, full kitchen, free covered parking... why would anyone ever want to stay at a hotel here? This is better than any suite and a bargain too. We have stayed five times at the blue Heron since it opened. THe location is ideal for all Disney (less than 2 miles to maingate) and Universal activities. The property is gorgeous with incredible views of the lake from the condo. THe condo is spacious and beautifully decorated. Parking is on site with elevators. THe front desk staff is very helpful. Dear Todd & Melissa, Thank You for allowing us to stay at your condo this Memorial Day weekend - it was absolutely amazing. The pictures online do not serve your beautiful place justice. Every amenity we could need was available to us, the staff was really friendly and accomodating, and the view was refreshing to wake up to in a resort town like Orlando. We loved it so much, we extended our stay another day! Mostly, I would like to say that it was a pleasure to work with you. Unlike other rentors, you were prompt and courteous; always able to answer questions and concerns even after we made the reservation. This condo is truly luxurious. I vacationed here Jan/07 for a week. Wish I could have stayed longer! The condo includes every amenity and comfort you could possibly imagine, and the location is terrific. It really felt like my home away from home. Todd, Thanks for renting us your condo in Blue Heron Resort. The resort and your condo are top drawer. Everything that we needed was in the unit. The kids had a blast in the resort pool and hot tub.
