The decorating expertly mixes stunning Northwest Coast Salish art with European Tyrolean-style lighting and art objects. (One of the chandeliers came directly from the Czech Republic!) Additionally, the bedrooms feature a colorful collection of vintage Pendleton blankets and themed flannel sheets. Very few properties in Whistler include so many carefully-chosen details.
The spacious yet cozy, three-story 3500 sq ft log home includes a huge mudroom. The dining room, with three walls of windows, comfortably seats up to 14. And multiple wrap-around decks offer endless outdoor spaces for hot tubbing, barbequing, or simply mountain-gazing.
The star of the recently upgraded kitchen is the Wolf stove. (Wait until you experience the range of its steady blue flame!) There is also a brand new Jenn-Air fridge and Dishwasher—both top to the line. Inside the cupboards are a gourmet's delight: La Crueset pans, Global knives, a Barrista expresso machine and an endless array of cooking tools.
The inviting downstairs den has a 50-inch plasma TV with high-definition cable and a dvd player, a stereo system, stone fireplace and pool table. The bathrooms are spacious. The laundry room is enormous. Best of all, each of the five upstairs bedrooms has its own deck.
This log home is located in the quiet and quite prestigious Whistler Cay Heights—a 3-minute walk to the Valley Trail, an 5-minute walk to the bus stop, and a 10-minute walk to the Village. Or you can drive to the slopes, with all your gear, in just 5 minutes.
And by the way, did we mention the unobstructed views of Blackcomb, Wedge and surrounding mountains?
