Hello I want to say that Rick and Tanya are great to work with. They treated us more like house guests than renters. The condo has been updated and the results are fantastic,in fact the kitchen was completed just prior to our arrival and includes granite, very nice. I enjoy the deck in the back,for the month of Jan. it is in the shade all day. I liked to watch the boat traffic and use the grill. The lanai is also very comfortable, the sun shines in and can makes it feel warm even on those cooler mornings. The area has most of the Chain restaurants, you can walk to IHOP and Olive Garden. A favorite of ours is The Tavern on the Bay this is a sports bar ( we also walk there,about 25 minutes, across from Tin City). The food is good, happy hour from 4-7, 2$ drafts and 4$ well drinks and very good appetizers. Grouper and Chips has good food, we had fish and chips, and fish tacos. We also tried Snooks Inn on Marco Island (30 min. drive) and enjoyed the food and the view of the bay. If you happen to be at Fort Myers beach you MUST try the seafood at Smokin Oyster Bar, an outside type bar with the best seafood we have ever had, try the shrimp and smoked fish spread. If you like to Golf I would play the Naples Beach Hotel and golf course, green fees after 2 p.m. are reduced and the way to go. We would suggest you try the water shuttle, for 5$ you can take it to 10 stops, see the area restaurants and shops, you can get off the shuttle and reboard later for no extra charge. We walked to the naples bay Resort Hotel (its across the canal in back) and picked up shuttle there. The beaches are just a short drive away, bring some quarters. You will be glad you stayed here and I would highly recommend this rental.Owner response: Thank you so much for your review! We are thrilled that you guys liked the condo and Naples! About the owner: Rick and Tanya Robinson. I (Rick) grew up in Naples, graduated from Naples HIgh, and currently live in Carrollton, GA. Our family uses the condo as much as we can, which includes most of the summer.
Why the Owner Chose Other West Naples Properties:
Naples is home, and I intend to live there again one day! It's a beautiful town with great fishing, beaches, and weather. When we stay at the condo, I've gone as long as 4 days without getting in my car! Not many places where you can do that!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
My favorite feature of our condo is that I can walk out the back door and be boating down the bay in 2 minutes. I can, and do, take the dogs down to Keywadin (just south of downtown Naples) for their daily run!
