My family rented this unit early in August at the spur of the moment. Upon arrival there was no parking available to unload the cars. After lugging everything up a hill and two flights of stairs just to get to the front door we discovered towels in the dryer to be folded and a dishwasher full of dishes to unload. There was no access to the shuttle service for San Destin so when ever we wanted to use the service there we had to take a chance on losing the parking space at the unit and cruise for a space wherever we wanted to visit. The unit is advertised as overlooking the pool, only it is around the corner ,and a good walk to swim, not to mention the distance to the beach. The major complaints however are the fact that the air conditioning was failing when we arrived and by the time we left after washing and drying the towels was not cooling at all. There were five TVs in the unit and 3 worked. I contacted the owner to tell her about the air conditioning and the large mildewed spot on one of the bedroom ceilings and she thanked me for the information , then seemed to forget to return my deposit. After calling and calling I resorted to leaving voice mails. I received a check in late December less $150.00, because the housekeeper said the carpets ,which were going to be replaced looked darker to her. I do not recommend this unit .
