Driving into Vail as the sun was setting was a great way to start off my stay. My fur could barely keep me warm, but the scenic views were worth it! Luckily, there were lots of logs waiting for me to start a cozy fire in the condo’s fireplace. I loved my condo in Lionshead Arcade. There was plenty of room for a bear family of 4. The kitchen had everything a chef needed, but the dinner suggestion my friend Jon gave me for “Sweet Basil’s “ restaurant sounded too good to pass up. I bundled up and headed to Vail Village for a magical evening. The holiday lights and cold mountain air took my breath away.
In the morning, the smell of hot coffee and good food brought me down the stairs to a little café called “Les Delices de France“. Don’t pass this up this little gem! It’s a great place to fuel up before hitting the slopes. While Vail Village is a short 5 minutes away, you don’t need to leave this little nook. Shops, restaurants, parking, shuttle and ski lifts are all outside your door. The owner arranges for Jon and his friends to take care of all your needs, which they do with first class service. I can’t wait to come back!

Our stay at Lionshead arcade was fabulous. Excellent facility and great location. Being so close to the lifts was a huge benefit...particularly for the kids. Kitchen and living room were nice size and sleeping arrangements for our group of five worked well. Don't forget the covered parking...glad we had that!

The owner was easy to do business with - good start. The on line photos are not photos of the actual unit. The location was great, the beds comfortable, the baths not so good. Clearly this was a one bath model where a bath was added requiring the bath floor to be about 8 inches above the rest of the floor so one has to step up to get into the bath. This would be impossible for handicapped and difficult for children. The second bath was not very clean in the shower - the rest was OK. The neighbors were smoking pot on their balcony (which was loaded with full garbage bags that smelled) so it was impossible to have the sliding door open to get a cross breeze so we missed some of the crisp night air we had hoped for. There is no elevator so again difficult for elderly or handicapped. Parking garage is very close and covered - great. This property is right in the middle of the square at Lionshead so it is close to everything. Probably would not recommend this unit to friends or relatives. The bathroom step up is a real killer. At night in the dark you can forget and nearly kill yourself!
Owner response:Thank you for taking the time to submit a review. We appreciate your feedback. We are looking into the cleanliness issue in the 2nd bathrom and notifying the building manager about the neighbor's habits. It was definately a short term renter that was there, so should not be a problem in the future, it has never been in the past. We do hope to see you again in the Vail Valley.

"Wonderful first time experience" Our family truly enjoyed our stay at Lionhead arcade. It was perfectly located to everything in the village. Our three young boys only needed to walk a few steps to the gondola. From the moment we booked the condo we were informed of our stay and were provided directions on how to get to the condo and instruction on how to get into the condo. I would highly recommend this unit!

"Christmas break getaway" Fantastic. A luxury to experience new Lionshead and ski the mountain before the crowds arrived. Great snow, too! Thank you very much, I will be in touch about spring break.

"Great location and excellent value!" Glad we decided to look beyond the pricey arrabelle while in Lionshead for a wedding. Our two adult children from the Bay area were with us, at our expense, so the value of this great location was truly appreciated. Having covered parking within a short distance of the condo was good; would be great in the winter! Living area was comfortable, kitchen was well equipped and handy for meal preparation. Appreciated having washer and dryer available in the unit. Fans are available in bedrooms and living area but had to leave doors open and unlocked to get the air moving. The price was a fraction of what we could have spent and we saved more by preparing breakfast/lunch in our place. If you are looking for a great location at a good price, this is the place!

"Good place, value, and location" We were quite comfortable here at this wonderful condo. It was right in the middle of the village and had its own parking space. The only thing which was slightly uncomfortable, but not a problem, was the fact that there was no elevator. Otherwise, Wonderful! Thanks!

"GREAT EXPERIENCE!" The stay at this condo was great. The location was very convenient to the slopes and night life, which were the two main amenities we were wanting in our stay. I can't really say anything I didn't like about this place. I would definitely stay at this condo in the future and I do suggest this place to anyone.
