Quaint Avalon cottage is situated directly across the street from scenic beach path and one of the Island's widest beaches. Enjoy oceanviews over the pines from the upstairs deck, refreshing ocean breezes from the first floor screened porch, or casual meals and barbecuing on the deck out back. The fairly private yard is fenced on three sides.
The layout features living room, dining area and kitchen on the first floor. There are two bedrooms and a shared bath on the first floor and another two bedrooms and shared bath on the second. Sleeps up to 10 people. Beds include: one queen, one full, four twins and one queen sofa bed.
Located at 3868 First Ave., this home is in a wonderful neighborhood, quiet enough for your family's enjoyment but convenient to loads of activities, shops and restaurants. A sports complex with playground, bocce court, tennis (hard and clay courts) and basketball is a block away. The area is great for jogging, bicycling and rollerblading.
For bay fishing and crabbing, public dock access is on 37th and the tackle shop is just up the street. Protected (lifeguard-staffed) beaches for swimmers are just steps away at 38th and 40th, with the one at 40th approved for boogie boards and rafting!
This home has the Avalon charm of days gone by, along with some of today's more popular amenities. So take advantage of the multitude of activities at your disposal or just come to relax with a good book. It's "Cooler By A Mile!"
